Can I upgrade both cruiser and dread computers, and improved hull on both cruiser and dread also.

Two at a time!

So computers on both first then.

You want to put Positron Computers overtop of the built-in Electron Computers? You don't have enough source power for that. Do you want to replace an Ion Cannon instead?

Aaah! Understood. I'll have to go for more power source next go or something then. Okay Improved hull on both please.

Indeed. Bit of a rock-paper-scissors game IMO. IH could probably beat Twelve in the center, but if he moves in does CF then move in too to ensure the center win? But if CF does that, does EM move into CF's sectors and neutron bomb them? But EM probably can't just move into the center and win against Twelve, himself.

Sweet!!!! I'm guaranteed the GC this turn as you wasted one of the actions you needed to give yourself a chance. Trust me I wasn't going to run away anyway. I changed what I was going to do this round to make sure I got it over all else.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Hey isn't the last book finally out now? I've been hooked since book three came out but it's not quite the same since he died?

As for the provisionals I'm not sure they will change as they are both ship upgrades. Both are good for the coming war.

@CF I will require no assistance in securing the GC though I do hope that I will not have to near bankrupt myself in the process.

Are we talking about Wheel of Time? I just could not get into that at all. Read the first one, found it dull, but thought maybe it just gets better, like with MBotF, so I read the second one, and found that one almost unreadable. So I gave up after that.

Yes we are. And it's funny you felt that way as I felt just the opposite with the WOT and Ericson's Crippled God series. I have read most of Ericson's as Vengy practically forced them down my throat and though very well written I had, with a few exceptions, a difficult time getting into each book. If it wasn't for the fact most of them ended a lot more interesting than they started I would have given up on them a long time ago. But with two small kids I don't want nor have the time to slog through 500 pages to get to the very good last 200. That is probably why I haven't read the cripple god yet.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

He can only beat me if I get some serious crap rolls. If I hit at the 66% rate or better then I win. I could even hit at a lower rate and still have a shot at beating him. And even if he does beat me and wipes me out the same would happen to him by the ancients. Bye-Bye everyone's fleets. Who can recover first?

How do you think this is going to play out, twelve? It's interesting that there's some diplomatic relations between two links of the "alliances triangle", but none between you-CF and EM-Khell. With points being as close as they are, will anyone risk taking the traitor card? If not, do you think there'll be a lot more hostilities between you guys and EM-khell then between me-IH and anyone?

In the chess match between IH and myself for the center it would now be IH's turn. But in terms of who's actually turn it is I know it is really CF's turn.

Well I'm counting with him building a 2nd dreadnaught and moving it in, of course, so then he can absorb a lot of missiles.

But you're right, with tractor beam it would probably mean IH wipes you out and then dies against the ancient dreadnaught. But given how EM is escalating forces on your border and how the GC ancient is so crucial because it pins everything, maybe it'd be worth it for IH just to keep it alive longer, even if you have a better chance of recovering faster.

If you do get your ass handed to you Twelve, what do you think D'rek will do? Will she attack you whilst you are going for the centre?

Honestly I don't know. In the I take out CF route I outlined yet abandonded I was willing to take the traiter card but only because I would open up a diplomatic relations slot for a reputation tile and I would have gained two 3 point artifact hexes. I think if an allinace feels they can gain more than they lose then yes I think someone will take the traitor card. I'm hoping that I can get you to take it in helping defend IH from me or in helping IH in attacking me and I think you feel just the opposite. I honestly think that you or I will ultimately end up with that card.

Personally I hope it's you.

She moved to that planet with the wormhole which can get into your back door which is unprotected. Then she'll move onto my homeworld with the orbital. I think.
