A massive Dynamite 15th anniversary comic bundle just went up at Humble Bundle: https://www.humblebu...-dynamite-books

Of particular interest for folks here would be the $18 tier, which features (among many others) the first Dresden Files comic omnibus, collecting Welcome to the Jungle, Storm Front, and Fool Moon, and is normally $30 on Comixology (though it's currently $16 for a Halloween sale.) That also includes the fantastic Ten Frames Per Second coffee table book of toy photos (normally $20, currently $10) and Gail Simone's Swords of Sorrow crossover (normally $43, currently $29.)

The $8 tier includes the first Bettie Page volume, which is a lot of fun despite the uneven artwork (and you'd need to track down Volume 2 to finish the story) and the first volume of Sanderson's White Sand.
"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"

It is a pretty good bundle, tho I will note that LEGENDERRY (which i got from a prior bundle) kind of sucks and the SIF and WoT inclusions are only 'vol 1's.

Seanan McGuire's two Indexing books are only $0.99 right now. A fantastic premise, and McGuire milks it for all it's worth:

I have gone to the Humble Bundle site and no matter what I click, I can't get anything to work. Is anyone else having this problem?

Seems to be working fine. Have you tried hitting the side of your device really hard while cursing?

Humble has an incredible W40K Horus Heresy bundle. So many audiobooks at the $18 level, it's a steal. Even the $1 level has a few audiobooks. These are great books too, well worth your time and money. I have read a bunch from this bundle, and it was still worth it for me to buy it.

I am not sure if this was already mentioned but if you join Goodreads.com (for free) you can sign up for giveaways. This is not just a few books here and there, they have a bunch of books every day in numerous categories.

Tor.com's free eBook of the month is Seanan McGuire's Down Among the Sticks and Bones. It's the second book in the series, but is a standalone prequel about two of the supporting characters from the first book. Recommended.

I couldn't get into down among. It was such a departure from the first book and too predictable when you'd already read what happened to them in the first book.

I didn't mind as a kind of backstory novella. It wasn't as good as the first book, certainly (though I liked it a lot more than the third.) I do think it might work decently as an introduction to the series, though.
