New Zealand author, David Hair's entire MOONTIDE QUARTET is up for cheap on Amazon. I'm only on book 1 of the series, but it's VERY good and scratches the "Fantasy Crusades" itch so far...

MAGE'S BLOOD is $2
SCARLET TIDES is $3 in Canada and $8 in USA
UNHOLY WAR is $4
ASCENDANT'S RITE is $3

So that's $12 CDN for all 4 books, and $17 in the USA for all 4 books.

If I gotta buy 'em, you gotta buy 'em!

If it helps, both posts are book series that are at least complete? I know you like that sort of thing.

That said, both authors have more books in their worlds that also might be complete? So yeah, not as helpful in preventing more eTBR piles....

"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"

Graphic Audio sale. https://www.graphicaudio.net/

All individual titles, $9. Worth a look if you're into earbooks or want to try one. Myke Cole is on there, R. S. Belcher, Brandon Sandrson, Cherie Priest to name a few i think are worth a listen.

For context, an audible credit is, best case, $11.

Note: recently they have moved - with some authors, not all - from the classic 'narrator reading a book' to the 'movie in your mind' format of cast, sfx, and music. On the balance i think the 'movie' format makes for a better earbook - the Golgotha books are a great example - but they split them into 2 or more parts, each an individual purchase, to offset the higher cost. That said, audible gets the same product and each part is a credit, so there's no scam and the product is worth it. Just don't be put off when you're buying 2-3 earbooks instead of one. I was initially annoyed but have listened to a bunch of them now and honestly they're great.

THE GOBLIN EMPEROR by Katherine Addison is on for $3, this includes Canada and the UK (where is 0.99).

NOTE: Any time I've seen someone ask for a comfort/feel good read on reddit Fantasy...ANY TIME....this is the #1 recommendation. Most people love it, so you can't beat $3.

NEVER DIE, described as a fantasy lit love letter to Wuxia films. Kid cuts a deal with a demon, must recruit dead heroes to help him kill a guy.

...enjoying it so far. Really does read like a classic Asian swordfeste with fantasy elements.

Just Finished NEVER DIE, which was very entertaining. It truly is a wuxia film in book form.... demons, sword duels, absurd martial arts techniques... it's fairly short, moves along quickly... I enjoyed. May check out the author's other work.
...

In celebration of his birthday and/or because another book in the series is due out soon i think, Rob Hayes, author of NEVER DIE which per above i very enjoyed, released his first three books for free on kindle...

These fantasy fools need to calm down with all these titles and subtitles and supertitles. Look at this!

The Price of Faith: The Ties that Bind book 3 (First Earth Saga)

They came with white hands and left with red hands.
