Everyone was having such a great time hanging out in the desert. They especially enjoyed exploring the bazaar, trading in all manner of goods, from the mundane cotton trade to exotic slave and eunuch commerce. But alas, all good things must come to an end. For the bazaar, it had simply reached a critical mass of tourists. There were so many, producing so much worship, that the government was forced to roll in with riot squads and shut it down.

Saddened but nevertheless invigorated by their experience, our intrepid adventurers boarded a boat destined for home. Unfortunately, they ran into a pretty awful storm along the way. It was so bad that the ship capsized, causing several of the adventurers to drown. However, thirteen of our heroes clambered into the only life boat. By the next morning, they had fortuitously washed up on a deserted island.

Things were good, for a time. Our adventurers formed a tiny island civilization, working together to build shelter and acquire food and water. The problem was that our heroes are pretty shitty at being civil. It has recently become apparent that some members of our new society, known as Deserto-islando-tropolis, wish to kill everyone else. Because they're crazy.

Now whispers abound: who is the source of this evil? Who lies on which side? Only time will tell...

I decided to start the game early because I had some time to set up before bed.
