SE answered range of questions following the RG reread conclusion. It's pretty interesting, not in any spoilers sense, but in terms of his approach to various elements of writing.

For whatever reason, I got it in my head that Erikson was going to be in Cedar Rapids (Iowa) next November, not this one. God dammit, I was looking forward to that so much.

Yeah, I like what interviews I've read with Erikson. He also seemed cool in real life. But lots of people say he seems douchey in interviews? I don't get it.
