This thing got me a bit interested. Actually, it got me very interested. So much so that it is the first time I've given any money to kickstarter. Even though it's completely different, first thing I thought when I saw it was Mount and Blade. I have no doubt in my mind that the single player story, the music and much of the world will be shit. But at the same time the basic gameplay mechanics looks amazing and very mutable to community mods. Hopefully they'll reach their target and we can start to play around with this thing next year.

That was pretty fucking impressive, especially considering it's a tiny team.
They need to work on the characters a bit. They're pretty good, but a bit off. Especially in fights they kind of move like string puppets. They don't lean around or anything, torso is always central and vertical. Kinda like something is holding them up by the shoulders. When you move quickly you lean your torso forward so you don't fall backwards, and you tilt sideways etc when turning while moving at decent speeds. And in combat you lean into strikes and put a foot back to brace with blocks etc.
Really though, as I said it's damn amazing so far, and those improvements could (and hopefully will) come. Environments look spot on.
As you said, modding potential is HUUUUUUUGE especially if they make good tools aimed at that community. With everything worked out reactively like it is and good tools so much could be done.
I really hope it comes allowing multiplayer. Because if so, you could totally use it to make nice environments for tabletop games. And with a decent mod run them online with this as the interface
(I have been looking at some online systems for running games lately)

Yeah... the engine is nice looking so far but as someone who studied it, the animation is just painful to watch XD
Definitely needs proper weighting to the movements and improvements to the feet, who knows maybe they'll get there in the end could be awesome if they do.

Hence the subtitle of the thread. Someone made a spoof out of the character's ungainly walk on youtube:
Legalise drugs! And murder!

This looks really, really good. I'm looking forward to it.

Will an editor / modding tool be included with the game?
