The mystery person I may or may not want to vote for remains a viable lynch option, all spam aside.

Well at least you are honest but what is your reason? Do you know what faction or alliance I'm in? If so what is your evidence? If you want to vote for me because I'm calling you out to give an opinion then OMGUS right back at ya. Though I won't vote for you because I don't know where you stand in the grand scheme of things.

Sorrit, he's suggesting you should be lynched because you aren't paying attention to what's going on on thread.

In times of crisis, the enterprising mind finds ways to make lots of money out of things discarded by others. Black markets flourished, and nowhere more so than in the Northern Desert during the first month after the storm season.

With the thread of the Khanates looming on the horizon, and having refused my protection, the Nepeth started making preparations of their own. They fortified their palaces, throwing up a low palissade and plenty of earthworks, while also establishing a network of tunnels to allow the supply to their troops.
Border Fortress is established at the Nepeth Barracks.
Until the end of the game, when entering this tile, a player is attacked by a 1 CS army consisting of 1 Retainer. If the player wins the battle, no slaves are gained. If the battle is a tie or a loss for the player, the player can't move into the tile.

Sorrit, he's suggesting you should be lynched because you aren't paying attention to what's going on on thread.
Well the last three days has been hell for me in RL. I just came back from vacation and it's year end here at work. This afternoon has been the first real time I've even had to do more than glance at the thread so forgive me for not paying a ton of attention to what's been going on prior to the last few pages. I'm hoping to find some time tonight to read up and update my notes some. But I don't need to be fully caught up to know that some players are really solid targets for lynches for me as they have been super obvious about where they stand in the grand scheme of things.
So sue me for wanting to know more about a few players in particular and my unothodox ways of going about it (I'm talking to you Emurlahn).
And don't vote stupid. If you know or even strongly suspect I'm not on your team then that is one thing at least come out and say that is why you are voting for me otherwise don't be stupid. There are many more obvious targets out there than me.

Hardly any buying going on in the bazaar. There must be a lack of gil or people are saving up. This day is stagnating especially with 2 tiles that a lot of people are on are sacrosanct. I am tempted to join Emur and vote night.
maybe its because 2 tiles worth of people with bazaar access just travelled to a tile without it?

here, I'll spell it out for you before I'm off for several hours:
I think Telas is probably the tax collector, and I'm guessing he is still in ishktar oasis (i.e. not on one of the two sacro'd tiles). I'm sick of paying taxes and would like to lynch him.
Barring that, I'd like to figure out who the Qadi is and lynch him. That seems pretty unlikely since we don't really have any idea who the Qadi is. If someone else knows and would like to tell us, that'd be fantastic and very helpful.
As a third option, well, I think I'd hop on the night train and see what happens with everyone all around khalif's palace / square of camels tonight.

Nope.

Inevitably, the flurry of activity lured people of influence towards the palace. It was not long before dignitaries swamped the palace with their crude manners, loud bragging and trains of ill-behaved servants and guards. Others, who lived in the city, came daily to the gardens and courtyards of the outer palace to mix and meddle. Oddly, few requested an audience, leaving me to stew in my displeasure. I did not have to wait long, though. One night, a tribal leader tried to rape one of my ladies. He died, choking on his own genitalia. Telekinesis can be painful. After that, people played by my rules again, even if they insisted treating the palace like a bazaar.
Market Rights have been granted for the Khalif's Palace.
Players on this tile can now trade on the bazaar.
