CoV - The Northern Desert / Square of Camels
Nepeth - The Nepeth Empire / Ishktar Oasis / The Nepeth Barracks
HoA - Qaurter of Coin / Ishktar Oasis also Khalif's Palace
GoB - The Mirror
NP - Square of Camels / Khalif's Palace / Quarter of Coin
Qadi - The Northern Desert
Khans - Road to Ishktar Oasis / The Horse Plains
Ruse missed the Khalif's Palace HoA person. Easily believable. But,

"Right. And so the biggest possible alliance is 3 factions after which point one of the 3 will be unable to ally with every other faction so the alliance can't get any bigger. So if the Nepeth agree to ally with the HoA they can also get the CoV or the NP into their alliance. But that splits up the game neatly into players who are part of that alliance and players who are not probably with roughly equal numbers to each side. I think it's riskier than waiting though - let's say the Nepeth agree and the CoV join in too. Then mostly just from bad luck a few CoV and Nepeth players are crippled or killed in the first few days/nights. It'll be too late for the HoA to turn around and try to join the Qadi and NP who are now doing well. But instead of the HoA waited and saw the Nepeth/CoV going downhill they could ally up the other side without having made any animosity.
I guess there's advantages and disadvantages to either method but I still find the earlyness of it rather curious. Maybe one of the HoA players has an alliance-proposing-related ability. "
Seems off to me for some reason. HoA player signaling the alliance proposal HoA player?

"The location analysis is pretty much useless imo. It's all speculation and even if we all knew where everyone was at the start of the day,It would be useless by now as people can move. "
Yes people can move and I seriously doubt that all members of any given faction started at the locations Ruse teased out. But people had to start somewhere and I don't see anything 'useless' in trying to figure that out.

If you find a market for sheep shit, then yes."
Somebody has a decent grip on economics.

"But imagine for a minute,If Bacon was sold at 10 times its current price.Would people still buy it?
No.Because there is a certain equilibrium between demand and prices. "
Somebody else doesn't. If bacon was to suddenly jump to ten times the current price and there's a monopoly on bacon, then yes, some people will still buy it. That equilibrium thing you mentioned.

about Karosis:
Okay then go ahead and don't participate on thread. Just makes you look even more like you are focusing entirely on some major and complex role "
Yeah, that's easy to agree with.

"Well, people don't have to know other people to go culture hunting. You just do this: "hey, that guy was kinda sorta defending/not fully committed to the last lynch train, he MUST be on the same faction! Get him!"
The reasonable voices who would normally step in to say "but even if by some chance they were on the same faction, they most likely wouldn't know it, so the argument is invalid", would instead keep quiet, because otherwise they would know the mob would get them next. And that's how it works! "

"The first lynch or CF is where the Culture hunt will really begin and people can use thread comments to start tying them together. It's also why you don't see many players wanting to open themselves up quickly.
Basically a regular faction game with all the behind the scenes shenanigans adding multiple layers of in thread effects."

Quote from Sorrit then:
"Dunno what exactly but this post really pings my gut. Maybe its that you talk about there being 5 factions + Qadi when you then list the 6 in the next paragraph? It makes me think you are Qadi and haven't bothered to really think about the other factions because you are alone and just want to kill them all.
The last Qadi had a big string of bad luck but was dreadfully powerful so I'm going to follow my gut and

"Breaking away from this to concentrate on the game for a second, my current thought is that Ruse might be the Qadi.
He's by far and away the top poster (not afraid of saying anything because he's immortal?), he's the only person to lay a vote so far (no one else in his faction?), and the person he's laid a vote on he suspects of being the Qadi (easiest to accuse someone of what you yourself are).
Or perhaps he just wants us to think he's the Qadi by playing this way. Anyway, those are my brunch thoughts. "

"Given that this game is going to be more fun with active players, and given that it will be played mostly behind the scenes and that it is necessary to play to do that, I am going to throw the suggestion out there that we should just lynch one of the people who are gonna get mod-killed. That way it's a little less likely to break the game if they get mod killed.
On that note,
vote Tennes
He is the first one I notices as not having checked in. Who are the others? I am thinking Fener, Korvalain, Tulas Shorn? Anyway, if people like this idea for a Day 1 lynch, I would be willing to move my vote amongst those players. If not, well I am open-minded, but I don't really see any great cases right now. "
Nothing obvious here, but Karosis does develop a sorta strange obsession with Tennes later.

I think no one predicted a day one lynch. Yet I would rather Tapper's game not broken as much as possible. "
