Luci and I got our first card today, from Coco! I was quite disappointed to find a grand total of ZERO cocks, but then I might require a stronger microscope...

Pedantic bit: a "tinny" is a small, open, aluminium boat with an outboard motor, not a can of beer :)

Forgive Shiara, she lives a sheltered city life.

A tinny also refers to a can of beer ie 'pass us another tinny', 'a six pack of tinnies'.

Chris Masters drew that Christmas card? Are we supposed to believe this? Does this card company think we're all fools? And yah, where the hell are these penguins' cocks? This guy must have drawn them from memory. And what's that Welsh one doing, singing to a daffodil and eating popcorn?! Okay, I guess that's how I picture them too, so that one checks out.

Anyway, all in all, I give it an A+. Excellent card.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

It might be a difference between coastal and country slang. Most people I know drink beer from bottles :)

It's an Australian, New Zealand and parts of the UK coloquialism. Even wikipedia notes it as such. Having lived in the country, city and on the coast I can assure you it is used in all those settings. :)

Tallies and tinnies - glass and can.

Though a 'tinnie' is also slang for a foil packet of marijuana but that tends to be mostly used by kiwis based off the police reports I read.

I'm impressed it got there so quick. The airmail was worth the cost :sofa:

And with regard to the picture of the cock, the airmail was quite expensive enough, without the addition of a life size colour photograph.

It costs a LOT to print colour photo's that big......

And seriously, a card that has Christmas, Australia AND Scotland on it?

I'm amazing :)

Thanks for the card and the paper-cut liz, it's lovely.

My cards were only posted a couple of days ago, so they may be slightly late. And wholly incomprehensible. If you have a codebreaker on hand, they might be able to tell you what it says by the time summer comes round, if they're really good.

I must have forgotten the hyphen between 'sexy' & 'beast'. My bad! :)

I do hope that my cards will arrive one of these days, hopefully before Christmas.

I got yours today Dutch, it's lovely, thank you!

Also, didn't realise I hadn't given out my name until I started getting mail addressed to "Starling" :( My flatmates were a bit confused...

Glad it arrived in time! XD

I had originally made you an entire Mass Effect themed card but I couldn't get it to print nice enough so I just settled for Christmas Shep and his aura of creepy-stalkerness! XD
