About the costume point, I have to say costumes speak about internal consistency as any other element of a fictional work. But you and D’rek have a point; it’s true that in the original trilogy Asian and European clothes are intermingled… but somehow in the prequels it looks as there were something unfitting… at least to me; it’s a subjective feeling and I can’t give you any reasoning for that… may be it was shocking to me when the same person wore stereotypical European princess clothes and a Manchu inspired outfit.
