Ah. Could we have a list somewhere of the new techs that come out each turn from now on then? I had assumed that you hadn't updated the tech board to take into account your own pick.

As it stands, I'm happy with what I ended up taking but I might well have chosen to go with the hulls if I'd actually thought they were available.

You've got to PM Path Shaper if you want Tapper to make his move. He is all consumed by mafia at the moment.

Alright, I'll give that a try.

Had an OTB game of Eclipse tonight. 3 players - Planta, Hegemony and Hydrans (me). Got off to an excellent start but then got attacked. Fended off one opponent only to leave myself weak to the other. He attacked but somehow I managed to win a battle I had only a 5% chance of winning (I put it in the simulator afterwards) that neutered his fleet and left me able to sneak a win on the final turn. Excellent fun ^_^.

I will upgrade as well.

Remove the plasma cannon from my cruisers, leaving the blueprint ion cannon.
Cover the basic electron computer with another nuclear drive
Add a plasma cannon to the star base blueprint in the blank slot

Right, well I'd like to Build a Dreadnought and a Cruiser in Sector 1D, please. This will cost 13 materials, leaving me with:

Money: 6 (+10)
Science: 2 (+10)
Materials: 5 (+6)

Nothing I can do about it. I'd hoped that D'rek would have gone for the GC, but sadly, she doesn't. 2J will remove my final fleet element, and that in turn opens up my homeworld to conquest. Seems unlikely that I can do anything to counter those dreadnoughts.

What are the conversion rules, can I convert 4 money to 1 science (giving me 5) and research Plasma Cannons (6 with 1 discount) in one go? If so, do that please.

If not, build cruiser + fighter in 2J.
