Wow, that went down quick with a Karosis/Spite pile on with no discussion. I am not going to throw my vote on. If it isn't a lynch, we know we have an assassin, and can remove and go after a faction. Because of the quickness of the Karosis/Spite votes, I wouldn't be surprised if one of them is an assassin.

Also, I don't believe the Korv/Osseric spat was distancing. Just my opinion.

The dual CF of Kage-za (or however its spelled) is concerning and does lend evidence to a FM mechanic. I am on the fence for that one.

Of the 2 possibilities here, I am more inclined to think that Lio is connected to Galain. As I stated earlier, I don't think the Korv/Osseric fight was distancing. Hence, no connection.

What about Karosis for a Galain connection? I still think it's a more solid connection than Liosan is, though I also see the Liosan connection.

We haven't gotten confirmation from ps whether it was an error. Don't you think that would raise this to TMDI 10?

I doubt it was an error. And why would it be TMDI 10 just cause of a FM? It's not a terribly complicated mechanic, and only 3-4 people have to actually worry about it as a mechanic as assassins don't really care about the factions.

If there is an FM, which I think there is because of the repeated name in the death scenes, there could very well be non-FM assassins competing with the FM, since they have their own VCs. Unless Kage-za is a clan name, but the CF doesn't read that way. In any case, I'm unsure of how many assassins could remain.

I think that Kage-Za started in Mockra, and somehow moved into D'riss after Mockra was killed. I'm honestly fine voting Emurlahn, Korvalain, or possibly Sorrit. More meta on the last one, but Sorrit is just rubbing me the wrong way.

normally an FM is killed by lynch, he wouldn't get to jump. The oddity of FM mechanics is that we usually get the CF of whoever got jumped into.

The face made of delicate plaster, makeup and prosthetics crumbled to dust as they watched. What was left was a horror. Whether it was a man or a woman, or even human, couldn’t be determined. What had been posing as the paymaster had no lips, its cheekbones had been smashed flat and the nose and ears cut off. All human features erased, what remained was ghastly.

In a panic, the General waived his hands and the waiting archers loosed. Whether it had meant to attack or not would never be known, as it was quickly feathered with a dozen arrows. The assassin made no sound as he died.

Emurlahn (JLV) is dead. He was Hannya, the assassin.
