Eloth, you are lynched so stop speaking. Enough people have seen already, so I'm not going to erase what you've said. Just strike them from the record in Lawyer speak.

Kunitomo felt the border patrol closing in on his position. He had thought to infiltrate the clan by slipping through the checkpoint as a silk merchant, but several over-dubious border agents had sniffed through his false premise almost immediately. He had barely made his escape, but his mule was lame and he had nowhere else to go.
Taking his short blade from his sash, his only regret was that he had failed the Shogun, his master, and the Ashikaga would be stricken even further by his failure. It had been the hope of his master that he could find support amongst the Western Clans, and to possibly stave the violence that was slowly brewing West of Kyoto. It wasn’t to be, he had failed before he began. There was naught to be done but end it.
So he did. One crimson slash and his blood boiled across the bare stony ground.
Eloth (Azathmaster), Agent of the Ashikaga Shogunate is dead.
=============================================================================================
Kabusa accepted the sealed scroll from the runner with a grunt of acknowledgement. The runner took the hint, and quickly sprinted back out of the door, ducking his head to avoid the low overhanging beam of the rather cramped supply shed.
Kabusa briefly touched the scroll to his forehead in an absent gesture of respect and then concealed it in his sleeve. Removing a small towel from the bunched mass of his other sleeve, he mopped his brow and set himself back to his lists. It was well past nightfall when he sent his last supply order to the castle town and slipped beyond the walls to make his way to the shrine. The darkness there beneath the ancient trees was total. Fine fingerlings of mist were beginning to gather in the hollows. He tramped beneath the tori gate, straw sandals a slight rustle on graveled stone. Rather than approach the shrine itself he detoured into the bushes behind a row of stone carved jizo statues. Just off this main path there was a small cracked altar ringed by tiny fox statues too worn by the elements to have really told what they were if it weren’t for the obvious markers indicating this place was of the fox god, Inari.
He placed a single unlit candle on the altar and the scroll under the third statue on the left. Kabusa shivered once, straightened upwards almost violently and then rushed from the place as quickly as he could without seeming to run.
The silence stretched. Time itself seemed to hold its breath.
The spell of stillness broke when a single light blossomed, a tiny bloom of fire. In the small flicker of the candle, the white face of death took up the scroll. If the face had still possessed lips, the smile would have been no less ominous.
There was a subtle flicker of motion and that pallid visage was covered by a horned demon mask. It was almost comforting by comparison with that face. “It is now night.” It hissed between blackened wooden teeth.

Unexpected - looks like there was another independent force out there.
Not sure what to make of the other scene though.

I am thinking that Eloth was prolly just an assassin from the Ashikaga shogunate. If he was in fact giving away role PM info I bet the going to night scene would be an assassin getting hired. Guess we will see when night times out.

At least this time it's better this way, I'm going to bed.
6 hours or so, and hopefully I'll be able to resolve. Apologies.

I come back to be able to post... and it's night.
For what its worth, I would have been on an Eloth train as well.
As it's night, I am not gonna reveal to much of my suspicions, but there was some good interaction and conclusions to draw from yesterday. I'll be back with time to post upon nights resolution.

Oh yes let's re-re-re-hash "why your avatar is fucking with me".
If you're scrolling through and looking for posts by avatar, then my lack of avatar is the most distinct avatar.
In short tough noogies. Deal.

Checking in, good to see we got the lynch. Waiting on night resolutions makes me sad, though. Provisionals, guys!!
