Hey guys,Can someone please give me a brief summary as to some of the races/ groups of peoples in FOG please?Are the Dog- Runners the same as the Deniers? And are any of these Jheleck? Are Jheleck Dog-Runners?

Deniers - Tiste who don't worship Mother Dark, further known as Shake.
Dog Runners - Imass
Jheleck - separate race of soletaken wolves/dogs/hounds/whatever. Further known as Jheck (due to some schism already mentioned in Forge of Darkness).

The Deniers are not equivalent to the Shake.

In page 254, T'riss has this conversation with warlock Resh of the Shake

Quote

"Who dwells in the forest north of Kharkanas?" she asked him
Resh shrugged. 'Cast-offs, half-wild folk. Poachers, criminals---'
'Deniers,' Caplo said.

The Shake seem to be a cult who worship a different god (the river god) but still accept the Tiste and Mother Dark as their rulers. So they are some kind of officially sanctioned cult.
Then there are people who dont actually participate in the Tiste Society, live in forest independently
