But what about Sheb? Nappet? Last? Asane?

On a reread, just curious if they are people we have seen before.

Personally I think some of them are pretty old ghosts. I forgot which one it was (Last, maybe?) but he seems to recall a time when the Letheras area is just struggling farmland. There are ghosts everywhere, of course, because Gothos's ritual has stopped them all from going to Hood's Realm for millennia.

Actually Last could in fact be Trull Sengar's Ghost.

But because they are all now aspects of Icarium, and Icarium had an issue with a spear in his past, he now no longer likes spears like the others.

I always assumed that was a ref to Icarium's confrontation with Trull, but i like your theory and the timing isn't ridiculous, considering Trull's death was closer to Iccy triggering his machine than Feather Witch's.

It's an intriguing idea, but Last was a Letherii farmer:

Perhaps he was one of the Demon Farmers? They had a bit of trouble befall them!
