What are we going to look for in our killers this game? A low poster day one seems unlikely in my opinion as that would garner attention. Lots of posts day one then drift away throughout the game. Likely. Middle of the road, posting content but not too much more than likely, partner either also being middle of the road or one high and one low?

For me Liosan is in a good position as scum. Not one of the highest posters but just above middle. He has also pointed towards the low poster route as a good idea when we are only midway through day one.

Another one is Emurlahn, he doesn't say much that we could pounce on but he says enough to not look dodgy. I mean look at his posts so far...

I still like the low poster route. This is a tried and true method for finding scum, and when we have strayed from it, we have often let scum win. One may argue that you might be symping dear Ossy or Mockra in your defense against low posters in general, and offerring me a (mid-high poster) as an alternative.

based entirely on these two posts I would vote for Liosan right now.

This was early day one (page 3 on 40ppp) and Karosis was if not the highest poster by the long shot, pretty damned close to it. Coupled with the haranging of one post wonders at the start oft he game (with time differences its possible that they had only looged on psted then gone to work or anythign)
Korv died night 2, if I'm correct in my mind, so here my currect working theory. Korv was killed incase he came back to Liosan suspicion. Liosn pushes low poster hunt becuase Karosis is far too vocal and drawing flak from olar, was very curious who I thought was symping Karosis when I posted my early assessment of the pissing contest. there was another point. I'll need to bounce through again quickly
but for the minute

vote Liosan

leading the mockra lynch from the get go.
day 2, korv had a vote on liosna most the of the day.

although the hammer on karosis is admittedly at odds with the rest of it.

blegh, I dislike posting several times in a row. but I've been looking back of the karosis lynch several times now and its frying my head. putting Lio as the other killer is now illogical, all he/she had to do was wait another few minutes, post the vote then curse as he missed the deadline. or perhaps he thought that is what he ahd done. or its the ultimate tie cutting move (although thats a stretch) I'm gonna pull the vote off again for now unvote

its the Korv kill thats really getting me, I keep trying to see who or why and Liosan screams at me, sorrits post just before the lynch where korv was getting angry and sorrit quoted him saying basically" wtf??" sticks out a little, so the Korv could have been a provisional to try and save karosis on day 3 (assuming a no lynch) but thats another massive stretch.

I need to lie down. or take a drink

remove vote

As I don't think votes cast during weekend freeze count anyway. I'll take a fresh new look at everything after break, and try to refine my list. I'm not so sure about Liosan being a killer, though, and hammering his partner like that. If so, it's one bold ass move. I've got my own list of possibles for Karosis partner, Meanas leading, but once again, might as well wait for unfreeze before we get anything started.

Well for once I'm glad of the weekend freeze. I've actually been too busy to participate much, and since PS isn't even going to resolve till Monday, seems a bit pointless.

I may be back later today, but it's Sunday.. and... FOOTBALL!!!

So I lost my glasses. I assume this happened while jumping a fence, but I can't remember. I'm wearing my backup pair, but they're such a pain in the ass. Fuck alcohol. (until next weekend)

I'm confused. As I understand it, you're voting me because I called attention to Korvalain's "we're going to lose because everyone is stupid" post, and somehow that was supposed to save Karosis if we didn't get a lynch. Except that I voted for Karosis a few minutes later, which kind of counts against the idea that I was expecting Karo to still be around the next day.

Yeah, I'm sort of siding with Sorrit on this one. I tend to want to believe Sorrit, Galain, and Liosan. It appears to me that their votes were a mad scramble to help get a lynch, and with 6 or 7 anons on, it seemed at least very possible. I removed my vote from Galain, and placed it on Karosis with either about an hour left, or less than an hour left, giving Karosis 4 of the 7 votes needed. Along came Galain and Sorrit, and with less than a minute Liosan hammers.

I believe we all, at least in my case, switched votes over to Karosis just because he was the closest thing to a lynch(he had 3 votes before I swapped), and the other votes were just as hesitant. We really didn't want to lynch another innocent, and I had my doubts about him being scum because of his public fight with Olar, and I think the others were also hesitant. I think most people wanted to not have to be on that vote train, which was just some last minute lynch train from nowhere basically, and held out as long as possible, yet when it came down to the time, the last votes were made.

So for now, I tend to trust Sorrit, Galain, and Liosan.

I'm still suspicious of Galain, although I still can't say exactly why. I do find it difficult though, to believe that Liosan is connected to Karosis when he hammered with minutes remaining, It would have been far easier for him to wait a few minutes and then vote once the day had timed out. Particularly with Korvalain's meltdown, which had the potential to distract attention from Karosis.

In fact D'riss, I find it particularly interesting that you have tried to keep attention on the last three voters on the train, when you didn't vote at all, and you haven't responded at all to my defence. Also, the fact that you keep throwing emphasis on the night kill of Korvalain has me very suspicious of you. It feels like you are trying to spread confusion by coming back to that kill.

I read that post entirely as:

NO YOU!!1

Your vote, if you are the killer, on Karosis was a great play, whats the chances of a hammer in the last, what 2 minutes of the day? it would be a fantastic bit of distancing, you gain another day.

the korvalian kill i mentioned was to do with Liosan i think.

Then you obvously aren't reading it properly.

The problem with your argument is that without my vote Karosis would have gained another day, which means both scum would have gained another day. Again, I wasn't under suspicion at that stage and I hadn't been connected at all to Karosis, so why would I need to distance myself?

Well Im back and have read up.

I haven't posted since Friday because it was the weekend break and I have more time for mafia during work hours than when I am free.

there's been a lot of voting and unvoting this weekend which is odd as meanas and PS both said that votes wouldn't count, and that while many of us are newer players or players who haven't played for a while, the weekend break rules don't seem to change and was definitely the same in the past few games so everyone should of known there votes wouldn't of counted.
Even OE who hasn't played in a long time should of realised after PS read out the rule, but never mind.

Personally karo wasn't getting much heat, he was lynched because he was the only real option, It would of been really ballsy play to risk putting him at L1 or L2 and I don't see it happening.
I'm going to have a look at the last day, see if anyone voted for karo early on then removed his vote, if anyone voted for karo early on and then didn't participate at all in the 2nd half of the lynch ( as in he wasn't online, so was unable to change his vote)

but I'm expecting that either the killer or the symp (or both) will be found in the four of us who didn't vote for karo.

Spite, meanas, D'riss and myself.
now obviously I know I'm inno, but I doubt the rest of you will just accept that and believe me.
Any train on either of the other three in that group will get my vote when day starts

OK, back and drinking coffee. I will be around till day times out, but I want to look again at possible cases. As I mentioned earlier, I think one of Meanas, Korbas or Spite is likely scum, but D'riss has some scummy behavior and he wasn't on Karosis' lynch train.

OK, I do see a couple of points where it looks like Spite is signalling to Meanas. Nothing is standing out to me from Korbas.

vote Meanas for now.
