It's the equivalent of writing an entire review before telling the reader what book you're reviewing.

I'm sorry but there's simply no sense in this thread. Why would you ever want to hate less? It just doesn't compute...

A just reply and a reply that one such as me, belonging to the dark side, should consider. But then, I favour a more Bane-ian approach to Sith business and his was fixed on directed, calculated rage rather than that random, spontaneous fireworks like spurt of rage that seems to lead so many Sith to their untimely demise.

Thank you, JLV, for that. Though that may possibly be because of the fact that my brain is screwed upside down. Submerged in a tank of the stuff that old marine in the Black Company brew(s)ed.

Come to think of it, that's also a valid point, even though written sarcastically. You do know that many read a review of a book and then read a book? As in that being the whole point of a review - for everyone except the writer of the review?

Wasn't sarcastic, it was an analogy to make a point. A point which you seem to have missed...

You do know that many actually read a post before responding to it?

Btw THAT was sarcastic.

Your style of responses, which you have now corrected, left the reader unclear on what you were responding to. A review that doesn't tell the reader what is being reviewed is ineffective and unclear, like your upthread posts and whatever point your response to me was trying to make.

Spend 30 seconds thinking before you post OT. You clearly love the books and the genre and have something useful to contribute here, and you and the forum will benefit if it is done in a way the rest of us can actually respond to.

Ok, apologies if I came off the wrong way. And I still missed the point you made. Yes, I am not that bright. Ill try to make my posts much more clear, I guess, though bouts of insanity hardly allow for that. And I usually don't know what I am saying. Or trying to say. I really forgot what I wanted to say.

Insanity is not a fashion fad, please stop using it as an excuse.

I am starting to feel that and it really hasn't turned out the way I wanted it to, possibly because my statement was misinterpreted. But then again, it does shed light of human nature, behaviour and thought which is always enlightening!

I never meant it as a fashion fad or an excuse. What do I need an excuse for? I simply admit I am insane, medically and otherwise, which is a good thing.
