I am sure this is probably a lot like the Madden curse (and due to the fact that several of you haven't selected K & DEFs) and I will screw up spectacularly through line-ups anyway, but no-one's going to take this away from me. NO-ONE. My season is good, you hear, GOOD.

I was looking through the teams today and i have to say, I think Tappers team is pretty damn impressive.

But you sum it up in your team slogan, it'll probably come down to Darren McFadden.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

Well, if Matt Ryan continues like he does in the first 3 quarters.... ;)

Yeah, I wouldn't expect that.

It's killing me, though.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

I left 20 points sitting on my bench because I heard conflicting reports about the Lions RB situation. /sigh.

What happens after the first week is done? Is it time to trade and mix things up?

Hmm? I think Rodgers would... 300 yards 300/25 = 12 pts), 2 TDs (x 6 pts = 12 pts), 1 2-pointer (2 pts) and a handful of rush yards minus an interception should be around 26.
Akers won't score that.

I noticed this morning that my own score was roughly 30 pts lower on the Yahoo! page from what it was last night, and the reason for that is that it doesn't calculate TDs. So I'm suddenly only 7-something points behind HD instead of 25-high (my 5 TDs (+30 pts) against his 2 for Vick, 2 for Foster, 1 for Wallace, 1 for Gore, 1 for Gonzalez, 1 for Ridley = + 48 pts).

Pic included (Matt Ryan ought to have 3 pass TDs and 1 rushing TD, Finley ought to have 6 points more for a receiving TD). If you go to the match-up screen and click Watch Live with Stattracker, you should get the correct scores.

I was going off the match up page where it shows what me and Bliss got for the week so far. I noticed that you had a play on the bench that had 16 points. Will he be included this week if you change now?

So does this mean that the points here are not correct?

I think so. I might be wrong, but... As you notice, the TDs are mentioned there. Funny thing: the Bradshaw TD from last wednesday's game IS mentioned on your sheet, but none of yesterday's are.

As for my bench dude: I don't think you can put a player who's played already into your team.
Spiller also scored a TD, so it wasn't 16, but 22. Oh well. He only got the spotlight because Fred Jackson got injured...

It said something about changes being made before Thursday. Are the games weekly now? When do we have to changed by for the next game?

Dunno. The Raiders/Chargers play their round 1 match on Tuesday, so that's when round 1 ends. On thursday Chicago faces the Packers in game 2, so if it is anything like the Premier League fantasy one, you have to set your entire line-up before that match. Maybe Yahoo is more flexible, I wouldn't know. Also don't know when the waiver wire opens and how long it lasts, either.

You can set whom ever you want right uptil that player is going to play. Once the players game starts then he is set either on you bench or on the starting line up. SO if you have a player who is playing on thursday then you have to make the choice whether to start said player by the start of the thursday game. The rest of your lineup needs to be set before the start of the sunday games.

Also there seems to be something wrong with Yahoo either that or SB went and fucked up our scoring after last nights game. It looks like everyone is missing TDs. I suspect that it is something on Yahoo's end and that it will be corrected. If not we move over to Espn.

On the league page

League Notes

Leagues that complete drafts (live, auto, offline) after 11:59pm PT on Tuesday, September 4 will start scoring in week 2. However, the commissioner can adjust the league setting to Start League Scoring In Week 1.
We are aware of the issue where many players are missing stats from yesterday, and we are currently working to resolve it. Thank you for your patience.

When you want a player, you pick to add them and select the player you want to drop. The waivers go through on, I think, Thursday. If you're the only person to add that player, you get them. If more than one tries, whoever is higher on the waiver wire gets the player. Then you go to the bottom of the waiver wire.

When you say "You" you are referring to Tats right. I thought that it was completely agreed that Tats would go to the bottom of the waver wire when ever anyone picked up a player. ;)
