Sorry for not getting on earlier. I checked in on Saturday night there were a number of people still needing to pick so I thought I had until I got home tonight to get on and make my pick. When I checked my phone from my sisters house this morning and realized that I was up I still thought I had until I got home as I didn't have my cheat sheet with me. I thought we get 18 hours anyway to make a pick. I can't believe I was at that limit. Should be a lot quicker during the week.

I also can't believe all the QBs that have been drafted already. Crazy. All the good ones will probably be gone by the time I get around to picking one. Can you say Colt McCoy/Tarvis Jackson tandem anyone?
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Meh, a 300 yard game is 12 points, add in 2 scores and you are at 24 pts per game from your QB, which means the elite QB's are going to be higher than pretty much any of the elite RB's or WR's.

Edit -> Also, can people check the site pretty regularly. We need to get through at least 1 round every 2 days or we are going to be drafting for longer than a Month.

Well, I can tell you straightaway that there's likely going to be a 6-8 hour gap between Vengey and myself and me and Bliss (less so when the snake goes from bottom to top, on picks 13-15, if Lady B picks somewhere during my afternoon).

As Obdi says, plus every article I read so far on picking strategy for this season suggests that RBs having a very small top and a massively large tier 3 and 4, in addition to being injury-prone.
What surprises me is the combination of QB-hotness paired with a very specific allergy for Drew Brees :)

The Drew Brees thing is because of the punishments handed down for their bounty program. Their head coach is gone, their defense is going to be a mess... that team is going to have some issues. If he gets back to me in the second round I will absolutely pick him. If there were no punishments he would be a top 3 pick again this year, bt yea...

In all fairness, I do try and read up. Spent most of the time I spent online so far since signing up reading articles, expectations, mock drafts and whatnot and catching a fair share of ESPN programs about the upcoming season, too. But a handful of days is impossibly short for a thing like this :)

I almost picked Drew Brees but read something about him I didn't like. Something about him being an average QB in a great team whereas Rogers has got natural ability and would be good even in a bad team.

A better QB? Drew Brees. Rodgers is going to have a better year for a variety of reasons, but if they had the same schedule and same tools and same coaches, Brees is a better QB than Rodgers is. NO just got smacked down for something their defense was doing and will have to deal with the repercussions of that this year, and it will absolutely effect Brees' FFL season.

At 19. I was a geared up to take him as my QB on the flip. I thought for sure that Tapp and Bliss would have let him be. He is from Detroit how good could he be. :)
How many fucking people do I have to hammer in order to get that across.

Damn. I figured you'd go for Matt Forte, in which case I'd have happily snapped up Johnson.
Going to do a tiny bit of soul- and list-searching.
