Who remembers this flick, and therefore remembers the great Bruce Leroy?

From the movie The Last Dragon.

Now to get down to business.

This threads purpose: How about you name the title of a forgotten B movie from the 80s or 90s.

OR

You may bypass this by instead naming any movie from the past that you think would make an excellent choice for a remake based on current movie technology.
My example is the Labrynth. Laugh away, but I just dig this flick. David Bowie was the man in his day.
But the better reason for this choice is that I think remaking some of these old movies with todays cutting edge technology might end up quite interesting. And I know 3D is being overdone, but this could also be the type of movie that is actually cool to see in 3D. The last movie that I thought used 3D effectively was Avatar.
And yes I'm aware that they're kids movies.

You remind me of the Babe.

What Babe?

The Babe with the Power.

What Power?

The Power of VooDoo.

Who do?

You do!

DO WHAT?!

Remind me of the Babe.

Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

They are remaking Robocop and it MIGHT not suck (given the casting of Sam Jackson and Gary Oldman) but it probably will.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

I actually have a VHS copy of Planet of the Dinosaurs that I picked up some time in... 1990 or 1991 because it had dinosaurs on the front cover.

It's terrible - so bad that the T&A girl is offed in the first 20 minutes of the movie without ever actually showing T or A - and the dinosaurs are ludicrously single-minded. The entire plot is an acausal temporal loop that makes zero sense whatsoever and might even be some type of anti-evolution plot now that I think about it some more.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

@James Hetfield

Beetleguise,

Beetleguise,

Beetleguise.

Fun fact. This spelling was how Michael Keaton's character had it spelled - with the 'g'.
But nice call with Beetlejuice. I had little faith in discovering any 'gems', but I think a remake of this would have amazing potential. But who could they get to play Beetleguise himself?

@worry - Samuel L Jackson was Jules Winnfield and Mace Fuckin' Windu. His being badass is undisputed.

But I love Gary Oldman. He flies under the radar too often, but he's amazing. His 'Drexl' character from True Romance is one of my favorite all time.

Brace for overkill Drexl quotes.

Marty: He's askin' about Alabama. Drexl Spivey: Where the fuck is that bitch? Clarence Worley: She's with me. Drexl Spivey: Who the fuck are you? Clarence Worley: I'm her husband. Drexl Spivey: [laughs] Well, that makes us practically related.

Drexl Spivey: They got everything here from a diddled-eyed joe to damned if I know.

Drexl Spivey: Now I know I'm pretty, but I ain't as pretty as a couple of titties.

[In the Night Club after Drexel has beaten Clarence] Drexl Spivey: He must have thought it was white boy day. It ain't white boy day, is it? Marty: No man, It ain't white boy day.

Drexl Spivey: Ey' yo, yo why you trippin'? We're just fuckin' with ya. In fact, I'm gonna show you what I mean with a little demonstration. Toss me the burner. [Floyd tosses Drexl the shotgun] Drexl Spivey: All right, peep this. Pretend this is that fine centerfold bitch, y'know what I'm saying'? And you're you... [cocks the shotgun and shoots Floyd]

Drexl Spivey: No thanks? What does that mean? Means you ate before you came down here? All full. Is that it? Naw, I don't think so. I think you're too scared to be eatin'. Now, see we're sittin' down here, ready to negotiate, and you've already given up your shit. I'm still a mystery to you. But I know exactly where your white ass is comin' from. See, if I asked you if you wanted some dinner and you grabbed an egg roll and started to chow down, I'd say to myself, "This motherfucker's carryin' on like he ain't got a care in the world. Who know? Maybe he don't. Maybe this fool's such a bad motherfucker, he don't got to worry about nothin', he just sit down, eat my Chinese, watch my TV." See? You ain't even sat down yet. On that TV there, since you been in the room, is a woman with her breasteses hangin' out, and you ain't even bothered to look. You just been clockin' me. Now, I know I'm pretty, but I ain't as pretty as a couple of titties. Clarence Worley: I'm not eatin' 'cause I'm not hungry. I'm not sittin' 'cause I'm not stayin'. I'm not lookin' at the movie 'cause I saw it seven years ago. It's "The Mack" with Max Julien, Carol Speed, and Richard Pryor. I'm not scared of you. I just don't like you. In that envelope is some payoff money. Alabama's moving on to some greener pastures. We're not negotiatin'. I don't like to barter. I don't like to dicker. I never have fun in Tijuana. That price is non-negotiable. What's in that envelope is for my peace of mind. My peace of mind is worth that much. Not one penny more, not one penny more.
