@Thyr, others questions aside - why don't you think Tellan is the sandy haired woman?

...fuckin social studies.

This was posted extremely early on. Is he referring to Fener's eventual killing of Eloth? Too bad we can't ask him what he meant. I'm going to assume that if we don't Lynch, that its random until proven different. So Kalse's death being random, and bad luck for us.

That's a good catch. I wonder if some alts had dedicated moves they had to make to maybe get the ball rolling? It would explain Fener's weird actions and Kalse's random lynch by 15 people.

Fener was talking about being paid to off someone based on their hair color.

Good morning people!

So we thinking there is going to be an independent role or two in there? D'rek had said that he expects the game to last 2-3 weeks. The Batman game barely lasted a week and a half, and there were much more players there, so there's gotta be some interesting mechanics that no one knows about that will allow town to survive a bit longer?

I'm re-reading early posts and this caught my eye. Here SL seems to be saying he may already know something we all don't.

You were right, SL. It seems dead people are able to keep going in a fashion, thus prolonging the game.

But did you know this somehow? Or have some clue?

Nope, no clues, was just making assumptions based on how long the batman game lasted and the number of players. It made sense to me that there had to be some hidden mechanics that would allow the game to last longer. It turned out to be true.

Most of my posts have been based around trying to figure out the mechanics with what little information we have.

The Spectre Forum thing is interesting. I wonder, Silanah, do you know why you were given Thyrllan's body? Right now, I'm thinking that it's an Apostl'eyd power that allows them to bring someone from the spectre forum to life. It seems that people in the Spectre forum have votes, so that's interesting, but can they see what's going on in the thread? I am thinking they don't seeing as Silanah/Thyrllan had to 'go read' the thread. I am wondering how much extra information, if any, the people in the Spectre forum have. Is this maybe how the cultists recruit? By bringing people back to life using their Apostl'eyd?

Next, does someone who has been revived from the Spectre forum get sent back if they are lynched or vig'd again? Can you only get sent there once? It would be interesting to see what happens if we were to lynch Silanah/Thyrllan, I think.

For now, I will

vote Thyrllan

If Thyrllan gives me some information I like and believe, I'll remove. For now, it's where I like my vote the best.

I wanted to point out that I don't think Tellan is the sandy-haired woman. they were the person who was screaming about the ghosts.

Why was I screaming about ghosts? Maybe something you did to me gave you a body?

I am a ghost sent by the lich KIng from the OP to help adventurers against the Bahamut.

*braces for the WOW jokes*

since I was a ghost, I couldn't talk to the other adventurers, being, you know, ethereal and all.

I could pick one of you to try to talk to, revealing more info about the player's appearance in the process.

I chose Tellan, b/c I was curious as to why Kaschan would pick him to attack

In addition, to answer Shelly, I had the ability to read the thread when spectre, but RL interfered. that's why I said I needed to read up.

Sorry, that was a mistake, Thyrllan said he had to reread the day and night scenes to figure out what triggered his resurrection, and I misremembered.

So, they can see the thread, they can post in the spectre thread. I'm thinking more and more that this is how the cult recruits, using whoever is in the spectre thread. This allows possible recruits to discuss strategy before they get recruited as I assume that once they're back in the game they don't get to chat to each other outside of it. I think the spectre thread is going to be a very interesting mechanic, specially if that's how it works.

I doubt they use the spectre forum to recruit - that would appear to place a huge black stamp on anyone's back who comes out from there. That would be game breaking IMO. I would wager that anyone coming out of there (who was not cult already when they died) will not be cult. By my reasoning, Thyr is the most likely non-cult amongst us.* If anyone else comes back alive from there though, all bets are off.

*Other than this gracious poster, that is.

Part of a cult game is, when we vote someone off, we also narrow the cult's recruit targets. If anyone voted off THEN becomes cult, I think the game severly hamstrings non-cult. I have to disagree with your speculation Shelly.

Well, I can see where you're coming from. I will

remove vote

for now. I will be keeping an eye on what the resurrected people do (especially if there are more in the near future). I still think that there's something there, and that it's probably an Apostl'eyd power of some sort, be it for cult or town.

It is interesting to see how fast the heat dropped of Osseric once Kashan revealed and started analysing the scenes. It is almost as if he slipped from notice completely after being under some pressure for the night.

Also interesting is that Kaschan hasn't mention Osseric even once since the end of night, even though he analyses the train on himself. Admittedly Osseric was not on that train, but his refusal to vote is something noteworthy when looking at the train.

This is some crazy shit. We have a dead person voting. Honestly, my gut is inclined to think that they know more than we do and it might be worth following up on. I'll hopefully make it beofre time out but my drinking has not helped this siuationt. So.

Vote Kaschan

Based on dead Silanah's vote. If Kaschan can defend himself appropriately then great, but day is not timeing out at a conveneitnt time for me right now. I see the vote for Tellan but no reasoning whatsoever so I'm leaving this here until Ireturn.

Hope it's not too late.

Well, it is an odd experience to survive a lynch train, and it should be pointed out that cult will be on this lynch train. Before I analyze, I need one thing clarified:

@D'rek: I notice that Silanah had a vote on me, which was subsequently removed two posts later. People thought this was a dead mans vote, despite Silanah not playing, and used it as proof that I should be lynched. For the sake of my defense and fair game play I need to know: was this vote from Silanah real or a mistake? I would not like this hanging over my head if it was a Mafia Manager computer error. Thank you.

Ok, 7 people on my train, one too late to "hammer." This is the order: Kalse, Telas, Serc, Liosan, Tellan, Barghast, Rashan

I wasn't lynched even if Rashan had voted on time.

So right now I'm thinking that Kaschan might have been recruited last night by Osseric and did a good job in drawing heat away from him.

vote Osseric
