Since PS has not corrected the count. I guess that is a mechanic or a power. Very irritating. I wonder why votes where only removed from 2 players rather then from everyone. The WIFOM is very heavy in my mind right now.

So it is just Osseric being cleared. I'm not sure what that signifies. Personally, since there's a lot of time on the clock to return those votes, I think it hurts him more than it aids him, but hey.

Well that is the burn isn't it. Did someone force a removal to frame him or did someone force a removal to try to get us to go after someone else say. The WIFOM for a move like that is very very heavy. I have multiple scenarios running in my head right now.

Well, he had 6 votes. Convenient back-up target. as it shows there are plenty of people willing to vote him.
I'd suggest looking for clues on someone else but then, easy for me to say, he is not my prime candidate for "very best lynch".

I am curious if Rashan got his re-read going, and what his conclusions are.

Osseric is in my top three the other two are liosan and Tellan. From what I remember Liosan is pretty clean and I hate lynching people for being smooth (unless it is silencer ). Tellan was a active poster who cooled off but everyone goes through different posting activities and availabilities. I will try to make time later to look at each one of them.

Yay for another day! Alright, so I don't like that Osseric just had all five votes removed from him. I will wait to see what happens with D'riss's vote, see if it's worth voting Osseric. I am always fuzzy after a wekend break, so I have to take some time to reread a bunch so that I can get my head back in the game. Will post more once I have had the time to do so!

Maybe there's a Esper with the power to clear someone's votes, but that would mean he's either Scum and the other people on the list are Town, or the other way around.

But the fact that Osseric hasn't been that helpful to town and is definately not worth wasting such a good ability on, in my opinion, leads me to believe he's Scum (Even more than i already did!)

That's a big can of WIFOM. What if this was Osseric's ability and he used it on himself, for example? If he is town, better a no-lynch than a lynch from his point of view, and if he is scum, then it guarantees him another night.
Or what if the ability just wipes the votes of the guy with the highest vote total, regardless of who that is?

There are several explanations/ interpretations for how this mechanically came to be. The speculation on the what isn't interesting. The figuring out of the why is going to be supremely difficult. The more discussion we devote to speculation at this point is just letting time slip through our fingers, allows scum a few hours without discussion on who we think is the scummiest, so I'd suggest that those who are so inclined vote him again and see if that matters, like D'riss did, and we search on for scum.

I planned on voting Osseric, but i was afraid he had some kind of ability that killd whoever voted him after being votepurged. But then D'riss did it.
