I'm back and read up. I see Emurlahn is getting some scummy vibes from me. While no one likes to be found suspicious, I am glad Emurlahn brought it up. It could lead to discussion, and discussion wins mafia games. I now will proceed to comment on other discussion topics

I'd be willing to switch to Osseric if a vote is required, but I think he is more clueless than scummy.

I agree that he is more clueless than scummy, so I'm reluctant to put him at L-1. And I can't do that anyway as we can't vote over the weekend.

(see post 751)

In a secluded chamber, a few adventurers are gathered. On one side of the room, the Jheck barbarian is tending a fire. He and the two others beside him are watching what looks like a large pile of rags.
From the mishapen bundle, a gnarled, covered hand appears and lays down three cards. Orb, upright, is laid side-by-side Obelisk, inverted. Sideways, bridging the two, The Apocalyptic.

The hand withdraws into the rags, and the three others watching wait impatiently. After a minute, the hand returns with nine more cards, which it flings down haphazardly. The cards bounce and fall in a scatter around the center three, but all land face-up: Priest and Weaver of Life. Herald of Death. Builder and Maiden of Light. Soldier of Dark. Consort, Cripple and Fool (Mekin) in Chains. Hunter and Mercenary. On each card, a single figure is depicted, most of them human-looking. As the trio lean forward to look closer, the rag bundle's hand re-emerges and casts down three small stone cards, which each land upon one of the outer cards.
"What's this? These aren't Cards!" says one of the onlookers. The bundle of rags does not reply, as usual. But the Jheck, who himself rarely speaks, answers.

"Blocks? Slates?" he asks, looking at his companion as he tries to find the right word. "How do you say... Tiles." Realization dawns. He leans over the field and points out each one. "The Frozen Hold. Here, Bearer. This, Walker. And this..." He looks up at his companions while making a series of warding gestures.
"Shaper."

"Is that bad?"

"Bad."

The group is silent for a few moments, until the green-eyed Fistian woman asks "There were nine cards, but there are ten of us still alive, aren't there? Shouldn't there be one more?"
A hand emerges again from the rag-wrapped creature and places a card directly into her hands. Virgin of Death. Here green eyes widen as a knife tip bursts out of her chest. Behind her, the scarred and battered Capustanii man laughs. And he continues laughing, until the Jheck barbarian leaps to his feet and slices off the man's head with an obsidian sword.

Anomandaris is dead. She was Lilly Garamonde.
Barghast (Brujah) the Bahamudite is dead. He was Mekin Zikulka, the Eager Ninja and not an Esper.

I was rereading this and thought of something that may or may not be useful.

From the last part of the scene, it seems like Barghast was the one who killed Anomandaris. I am trying to remember, didn't we suspect of Ano being one of the lovers? So she's the one that was attached to the barbarian, who then kills Barghast. I have to go reread the previous ninja scenes to see if it was always person A kills person B then person B gets killed by person C. If that's the case, maybe person C would be where the FM jumps to? Do we have any idea who the Jheck barbarian is?

I am thinking that the FM's weakness is that everytime he jumps, there is more of a CF than the previous time, which would explain why we got a bit more information everytime he's jumped. I'm thinking that the FM may very well still be alive.

I really, utterly and completely don't like Tellan, but, no evidence for anything.

I currently don't think Liosan is scum, and I doubt D'riss is. SL was my choice for a townie yesterday, and they're at best a recruit. I am town in my own reasoning by default.
3 suspects left.

Telas, who has completely fallen off the radar in the past hours, where I had him as a somewhat confrontational player before.
Rashan, who seems to avoid committing himself. But Kalse, whom I still trust, thinks he's not the best target.
Osseric, who seems to have a tiny issue with his grammar and text speak and who I feel is therefore not the Faceless Man: it's too hard to copy.

EDIT: I had Barghy in there. Posted Image

Vote Osseric.

What bothers me is that of the three likely townies to you, 2 of them have some degree of scumminess imo. Sadly, much like your opinion on me, my suspicions (a little residual scum gut feeling on D'riss, and more on SL.) are based pretty much entirely on gut. I'll read over the thread Saturday afternoon when I have time. If I'm not interupted, by anyone in RL, I probably can do that today though.

Scratch that, I went and reread the other scenes. Each time the person doing the ninja ends up accidentally falling on their own sword or into the glyphs. No third party. So I'm still thinking Ano was the lover connection to the barbarian, which, as opposed to what I was just speculating, may mean that the FM is actually gone.

Eloth (now Emur) was one of the lovers iirc. Also, in the second jump, with the magic bars, the person who ninjaed the other person slipped and died, with no one else involved... And agreed on the FM living possibility. I hope he's dead. One can only hope.

The Theftian died before the sandy haired woman was Identified. She is not the sandy haired woman. My mistake

I am here. This weekend I should be around now and again, so I'll keep checking the thread.

I'm not going to add to the FM speculation, because I don't really have another theory and I haven't really decided what I think is most likely, although I feel we need to assume it's still around. I was also thinking, what if we get more CF each time someone dies? Like, our CF's become more detailed each time we die?

I will lend my comments to the people being voted above.

Osseric- Despite being pissed off at him Day 1, I don't think he's the recruiter. Recruited maybe.
D'riss - Same, recruited maybe, not recruiter IMO.
Liosan - I'm more suspicious of him, simply because of the flurry of posting Day 1 and then the low profile since then.
Tellan - Probably my number 1 suspect amongst those being voted. Same reason as Liosan, + gut.
Emurlahn - We seem to have had recruits both nights (given two cult deaths Day 2 and 3). Emurlahn was in the specter thread during 2 of the nights (or at least 1, since he came back night 2), so I can't see him as the recruiter.

I am not a lover with anyone, nor was I before I died.

Anyone else find it strange we can't vote during the freeze? Makes it seem as though the voting mechanics, outside of spectre thread's existence itself, has some impact on the game.

It's odd, yes. However, might be there's no mod coverage for lynch resolution, if it happens, and since the SH password is reset every time a player leaves it, and you need a moderator to reset that one, D'rek may not have wanted a lynch this weekend, seeing how Silencer is partying at the NZ meet-up.

That and we could all just use a little bit of a breather before jumping back in on Monday!
