Further, while I think it is noteworthy that they are acting in concert, we probably shouldn't take direction from the shades. They would have had us lynch a possible cult-deducer. Let us play our game and them theirs, and if they align, all the better.
I sort of agree. But us being able to see their votes has to mean something. Maybe we don't follow them, but I say we should still take them into account somehow.
it would be unfair if we couldn't see them, votes are always in the open*

There are 8 of us here. I may have to go very soon. I'm debating whether to lay a vote before I go in case it's needed. But unsure as where to leave it. Thyrllan doesn't seem to ping everyone's scum list, but I don't think anyone has given any reason against Osseric, yet. So for now.
vote Osseric
I may be able to get back on in a few hours. Out for now.

So, Fener and Kalse have indicated they can change votes. Otherwise they are just dicking about and having phantom dragon/war-pig sex in the shade thread.

Eh, Serc you seem to be a bit jumpy and explain it as wanting to get something going. Fair enough. You don't want a random lynch, ok. Seeing as how we'll go to the shade thread those people are only mostly dead anyways. Perhaps Mad Max is the Lich King.
Osseric is at times nonsensical to me and is thoroughly defending Thyr. So, I'd be okay with either of them for sheer clarification purposes.
I have a feeling, someone else mentioned it, that we've got an adventurer that gets full CF and/or can lover talk to a dead person. The person shrieking about ghosts wouldn't be a bad bet for lover connect.
The problem we have is minus the thread as a whole having a full CF we've got no fucking clue who we are lynching. They then go to the Shade thread and have the possibility of coming back.
Everything I've seen so far is dog-chasing it's tail mechanics wise.
Everything is speculation right now that we have. The more we can clarify the better. We haven't successfully lynched someone, so maybe if we really DO and it wasn't the top-vote getter they really do die. The point is we have no clue. The only remedy to that is clarify. We shouldn't do it willy nilly but we can't just shout at each other that "it's speculation." That gets us nowhere.
I'll vote for Thyr, Osseric, Rashan, and Serc as of right now. Kaschan has remained quiet and Shel seems to be playing it cool, so I'm intrigued by them as well.

I was just rereading the thread, and I picked up on something that could be important, or not at all. Kaschan revealed as the Scholar right after the PS post about the scholar was posted. Everyone believed him, specially based on his name reveal, but I'm not so sure. He was the first one to mention touching the orb:
And then when PS posts bout the orb being touched, he says:
It could be nothing, but it could also be Kaschan trying to hide his identity by claiming he is a different character. I imagine the scholar would come forth with a counter-reveal if that were the case, but maybe not, so as to not let cult know who they are.

The adventurers had been reluctant at first to get too close to the crystalline ball, but it had not reacted when the young boy from the group ran up and placed his bare hand upon it. After that they had all stepped forward to touch it and agreed they would share its sale, but even with a pair of muscled treasure hunters, a Jheck warrior and a fully-grown Fenn they couldn't move the sphere so much as an inch. For half a bell they tried every trick to dislodge it and then another half a bell trying to break the altar under it, but not a scrap of progress was made. Those who had struggled with the orb sat panting in the center of the room while the rest of the crowd mingled around the domed chamber chatting and examining the wall panels.

NO.
I had a day action (called "Boo!") that allowed me try to become visible to one other player during the day. this would cause PS to reveal some info about my target to the thread.
I initially [lanned to use it on Fener, but PS didn't read my PM before killing him.
I did not like how Kas went after Tellan. so I voted Kas. However, I also targetted Tellan, to try to see what he was.

Ok, that explanation at least fits the scenes we got.

Oh, it's something to consider. Especially when acting in concert, such as if someone reveals on thread here and the actual player is already dead, they could help us out there by showing us their votes. But, as far as we know for now that thread is just as susceptible to cult manipulation as ours is.
I can certainly understand this idea from here on in. But I seriously doubt that any cult were killed on day one. The Fener/Eloth exchange seems more and more like it was something that was laid out by the players roles which resulted in the Apostl'ey being released. At least that is how I read it. Kalse could be cult. But I find it highly unlikely.

my personal theory is that the Apostley'ids were released once there were any deaths--kinda like the whole "spilled blood hits altar, altar comes back to life" concept.

That is a good catch Shelly. Their could be multiple reasons for Kaschan to pretend to be the scholar or he could be the scholar. It does give us something to think about though.

Something else I wanted to note while I was rereading...
Everyone's case on Osseric seems to rest on his not wanting to vote for Kaschan, and being adamantly against it. From what I have read, Osseric is just violently opposed to allowing spectre votes to have a direct effect on where his vote goes. He has been pretty much against the Thyrllan vote for the same reason. For now I'm willing to let Osseric slide on that.
I am not convinced that Thyrllan will go back to the spectre thread, so for now my vote will stay where it is, because I still think it would be useful to know exaclty what happens to someone when they return from the spectre thread.
The fact that Fener and Kalse both removed their vote from Thyrllan, then put it back on him, was probably just to show us that they can move their votes, that they don't vote in blocks, etc. The fact that Kalse did it right after Fener did it makes me think that they believe that a Thyrllan vote would be a good idea.

Remove Vote
I'll withdraw my vote for now, my Kaschan vote was to pressure him but then i forgot about it. I'll have more time tomorrow, i'll cast my vote before timeout, should still be around by then. We shouldn't go without a lynch today, a random lynch could be dangerous to town's victory (obviously).

I am not convinced the 'random lynch' is actually random. I think it's more likely one of the Apostl'eyd powers, to direct a lynch when there isn't a natural lynch, which would mean that someone decided Kalse had to go. Who was Kalse working against at the time?

For now, I'll:
Vote Osseric
1. It gives us options
2. We must lynch someone today, successfully.
3. I'll be around and able to switch to Thyr if needed.

Yeah, so could be that someone was trying to make it look like Kaschan was revenging himself, though I don't see it. I don't think Kalse's vote was really instrumental in the ALMOST lynch of Kaschan, so it doesn't make sense to me for Kaschan to take out Kalse on purpose, so....
