HiddenOne. You son of a bitch. You slimy, skulking, low-posting scumbag. You knew it would come to this. Roundabout, maybe. Tortuous, certainly. But here we are, you and me again. I started the train on you so many many hours ago, and now I'm going to finish it. Die HO. Die. This is for last time, and this is for this game too. This is for all the people who died to your backstabbing, treacherous, "I sure don't know what's going on around here" filthy lying, deceitful ways. You son of a bitch. Whatever happens, this is justice. For me, this is justice. Vote HiddenOne Finally, I am at peace.

Damn. Just read this entire thread. Crazy, amazing setup. A game for the ages, man. That flowchart is still blowing my mind.
We sail in and out of Time, then back again. There is only one ship, the captain says. All the ships we hail between the galaxies or suns are this ship.

So, there were two blatant and utterly ridiculous modkill worthy actions and you didn't do anything.
Should we even pretend we are going to do so anymore?
Well designed game despite being a massive head-trip. Had fun. Thanks.
Also, you fucktards who voted on FF6 shit? Yeah. Lists.

Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

I WORKED MY ASS OFF FOR THAT AMAZING FINISH.
D'rek had me researching fucking Final Fantasy, Deck of Dragons, I RACKED MY MIND trying to figure out what the hell those two words 'se-kel-in' and 'boll-ad' meant. As well as what the hell the quest for the noble link, green, and yellow clouds were, and just how they would kill the other clouds.
AND NO SHE DIDN'T LEAVE THOSE MERCENARY AND HUNTER CARDS IN THE SCENE ACCIDENTALLY.
MAN, THAT STOLE A LOT OF MY FN TIME. I was all like, Damn it do I combine Priest and Weaver, do I separate Builder and Maiden. Lol. I was tripping out on that shit.

Heh heh heh...
Did you ever figure 'se-kel-in' and 'boll-ad'out?
No. Thought boll-ad MIGHT be 'blood' and I don't know the other, Suhkul Lach?
Quote
Then these proper nouns here would sound like 'se-kel-in', here 'feen-nis' and here 'boll-ad'."
'se-kel-in' >> Sech'kellyn
'feen-nis' >> Finnest
'boll-ad' >> (Jhag) Bolead
All various Jaghut creations.

It's not uncommon to wait until the end of the day to mod-kill, so the lynch is unaffected. And in this case the end of day ended the game.

I'm a little disappointed that Tattersail is just playing it cool in the Spectre Thread. If I had just gotten told I was now dead and in a different alt, and then seen my old alt talking it up in the game thread, I would be shouting it to the rooftops, especially since I'm not in an alt that is going to be highly distrusted for ninja'ing someone day 1. Does Brujah talking in his Serc alt in the game thread not seem scummy to Tattersail???
I actually thought it was an esper mechanic and thought that i'd watch and see what happens. Once he cf'd as scum though I was starting to think that he could be a town fm. Especially since he killed a few scum as well as town.
Apt is the only one who reads this. Apt is nice.

You know, just reading through and seeing the madness that was the game, I think the debate over whether or not Brujah was scum really helped us. Since he kept lynching scum, if we had stuck with him being scum we would have trusted his kills and ended up ripe for scum's manipulation. As it was, for me at least, I vacillated between accusing and believing both Brujah and his scum kills (the SH's Serc and Barghast).
Also, ironically, Liz's misinformation about Rashan being innocent really helped/hurt in terms of doing a review of Rashan all over again. The Puppy Eyes and being cleared by Anom really didn't fit, and started me down the whole path of trying to tease out where the break in logic happened to be. I'm just glad we had Tellan to back us up, because otherwise my confusion would have led to a free recruitment night for scum.
And I'm really curious, cause I still can't figure it out: what use was the healer?
Amazing game D'rek. One of my favorites.

I knew it was going to hurt us once someone realised that puppy-eyes would have prevented a successful find, but at that time everyone wanted to lynch Raschan and he was the only scum alive then.

Not much

The healer could stop people dying from Stook's Last Cracker exploding, and could prevent Soul Shift. Both very unlikely to actually happen. But, {a} Healer is much more commonly a town role, and even though character abilities had no impact on faction/Esper status, people still have gut instincts, so it helps Pazali look more innocent (see how many people were like "SL seems bad, but I'm going to vote for someone else anyways"), and {b} it's a role that by its existance confuses the thread for that very reason, and such misinformation was needed - if only useful information was in the game, the town would be able to figure out too quickly how to determine who the latest recruit is each time an alive townie is Zombified because they'd immediately state in SH that they changed alt. The misinformation (and the Esper reveal restriction) keeps town from figuring it all out too quickly - time enough for scum (if they don't keep Zombifying the guy who suicides) to build up some followers. Then by the time town has lots of good information, there will also be several scum to spread their own misinformation and the "built-in" misinformation is no longer necessary. In this case, that didn't quite happen, but the lack of scum to muddy the waters was balanced by neither town Esper dying and divulging the Esper roles.

Haha.
But you have to realize you guys thought I was lynching scum because Kaschan/you scum numbers each night were going down. It was actually because I was dead at each count, combined with Rashan shifting people about. Up until the last day I had only killed Anom, who wasn't CFing scum anyway. I had you guys convinced I was town before I ever killed any true scum. And the first time I killed a true scum, it just so happen to end the game. ROFL. I'm sorry, but I really was trying to do the right thing. Lack of experience. I need more experience in those situations.
I'd like to add that if I had not chosen SL, then Liz would have became Scum esper. I give us a good shot at putting up a hell of a fight if that happens. Because I would have came back to SH still trusted as town. Ten bucks said I could have had at least half the SH votes follow me . But I admit I screwed up mega in that game, and I'm not taking anything away from you guys. You guys were awesome. I'll get you guys next time.
