Got my copy on Saturday and just read the first couple pages today after pulling a sickie - looks like it's set just before we see the Two Sorcerors running around Moons Spawn in Orb,Sceptre Throne - there is passing mention of the Wreck out in the bay below the peninsula somewhere south of Elingarth. This ring true? Or is my geography way of??

Supposedly TWoB follows directly on from TLoLE. Is that correct? If so, then BF/TLoLE/TWoB would precede MoI, and the internal B&KB chronology would seem to go like this:

Blood Follows
The Lees of Laughter's End
The Wurms of Blearmouth
The Healthy Dead
Crack'd Pot Trail

(The timeline is not important.)

You're right - I had the geography right it seems but my Chronology was wayyyy off. Realised my mistake after mention of the Carriage towards the end of the book. Looks like our favourite Necromancers covered most of the southern half of the continent between this book and OST when we see them back in the south.

Thought this was a loevely treat before the biggy at the end of the month - impeccable timing!

Still waitig for my copy, did the daft thing and ordered the signed version.

Love the PS editions, just hate the way they never deliver on time. A more honest set of publication dates would help. Still says to be publishing in June 2012.

Signed versions are waiting on the slipcase, due out this week or next I think from their latest email.

I'd suggest re-reading the whole lot before digging into Wurms though, I found myself having forgotten who some of the characters were.

Seeing as the cases they issue are now blank, it is strange why they bother.

Limited edition arrived today.

Agreed about the slip cases, I could make up my own in matching colours with gold foil printing on for the standard/limited editions were I so inclined, these trays do very little for me.

On the plus side the limiteds have two illustrations of Red.

To my mind dump the cases and knock £10 off the price.

I got a copy of Wurms on Amazon. Not sure what number it is, or if it has any at all. But it's a nice looking and feeling book!

The only version to be released so far is the UK version from PS Publishing. (In the US, you can get the same version through Subterranean Press.)

Why is the subterranean press one $80, while the PS publishing one is $30 on amazon?

Looks like Sub Press only has the more expensive, limited edition still available.

Seriously...that might be the biggest geographical publishing delay in Malazan history.

To be fair, Subterranean Press is a US publisher.

WTH Steve Stone? This isn't "The Tales of Dumpy Bauchelain and Dorky Korbal Broach".
