By the way, KL's character may well have been a killer. Not sure how I feel about that, or if it's even true. But Zsasz killed people and carved a mark on himself for each kill.

It sucks that you didn't agree with the case, but a no-lynch is FAR more harmful to town than a lynch of someone with a case you don't particularly agree on. If you can't get that through your head, I will find a vig, and I will murder you with it. EVERY FUCKING GAME YOU PLAY. I WILL FIND YOU, AND VIG YOUR FACE.

If Galain didn't get a notification that his BP was used up, then it's one of three things:
1) Either Spite or myself are now Batman.
2) Either Spite or myself changed our target at the last minute without telling you on thread.
3) Galain is now Batman.
With regards to nos. 1 and 2, I am not Batman, and neither did I change my target.
Vote Spite

@ Telas
Would Galain being batman make him not dead? Do we know that batman has a BP? Would he keep his BP from before? That seems overpowered.

I also think Telas is more likely to show up and defend, and Spite is more likely to lay low. hence my vote. i'm good either way, though. If no vig is forthcoming, atrahal can guard the other one.
Logically though, what defense is there? They will both deny it. I think we need to choose whichever one we think the BM would most likely want to recruit.
Good plan on the guarding.

I assume that he does have a BP, as he has no lynchproof and he is still meant to be hard to kill.

He's meant to be hard to kill because he has 4 lives. That's 4 restarts for town. I doubt he has a BP.

Ok so I'm about to leave town until tomorrow. If i get a chance at a computer I'll try to catch up, but It's likely that I wont get that chance. For now I'll go spite since Telas is actually posting. Plus most people seemed to think that BM would choose a successor that was a lowish poster.

No, he's described as a predator role in the OP - that usually means BPs. Also I think he must have BPs in order to counter all the guns and knives and possible killing abilities of the CLs. Batman is meant to be killed one way only I reckon - by lynch. So he'll have abilities to counteract the other methods, is my view.

Because they've usually had lynchproofs

I'm just saying, he's got to have some defences! If he doesn't have BPs, or LPs, and he's taken this long just to (possibly - could have been someone else) kill the Joker, then what does he have!?

The ability to hide. Each time we catch him, it's a COMPLETE restart the next day. We have to look at every single person again, it doesn't matter if they've been cleared or not. Now the only persons we can check off are known cult leaders, of which there are none, and Liosan. But next life for batman, even Liosan has to be put back on the list. Its the perfect defense. No need for a BP.

Pfft - that's just a boring faceless man, not a superhuman predator. Though I guess he does have the killing powers.
Edit: No, it's a Big Ben, not an FM.

I agree with Korb here. 4 lives PLUS BPs? That sounds like too much. That would mean we'd have to kill him 8 times. Remember the game was designed to balance. Look how hard it was to kill off Eloth? And Amp went down in 1 night from one kill. That had to be Batman. Town has to have a possibility to live, and to me predator means 'Killer'. Also the new Batman inherited before night started, so they would have had the opportunity to make a kill, and I'm sure Starling would not have wanted her successor to be beaten by bats.

We don't know if Ampelas was worked over by Batman on previous nights though - it may take Batpants more than one go to kill off a CL.
But yeah, I guess there is the issue of having to find him first among a crowd of people, perhaps you do have a point there.

The above posts are why I think Telas would be a more favorable choice by Batman as a successor. I suspect that Spite will have very little to say defend herself, thus buying the batman another night unless we are able to lynch Spite and take Batman out with a NA. I could be wrong and maybe Starling would choose a more quiet replacement, but I think a better arguer or thread controller over a lurker.
