I still like Telas's (Telas'?) idea of the people who didn't know about the armament thing.

So what does the Joker get out of telling us this, if we believe it and act on it? Not much, as far as I can tell. The only thing I could see is that maybe he feared getting lynched today and is deflecting us onto Eloth. There's a few suspects who could fall into that realm of possibility.

I think it's worth going for the Eloth lynch just in case, and due to my earlier argument on town numbers decreasing too fast if all CLs stay alive, but that this is a deflection would be good to keep in mind.

I could be wrong, but I dobut Ivy was making a literal claim of Rashan being Bane. Rashan is probably just a random townie that she recruited and wouldn't know if he had a name or not. She's calling him Bane because of the really bad batman movie where Bane is Ivy's henchman.

My assumption is that they stay culted - but they can always be re-recruited to another cult.

It's also possible that there's a successor mechanic whereby the first recruit gains the power to continue recruiting. However, I personally don't think that is likely.

I agree that this isnt likely, would be nearly impossible to stem the out-flow of townsfolk into cults. I just feel like, by the nature of cults in general, that if the leader dies the cult is disbanded. PS should hook us up with an explanation if possible.

I don't know anything about the character, never heard of him/it before this. My find is referred to as to "download" information about other criminals.
