It may be tomorrow morning before I get to do a better re-read of the last couple of pages.

Shelly, I wasn't voting for you because of your role-playing, except for the fact that I could see someone hiding behind that as opposed to the traditional low-poster lurking.

It is Day 1. There are 9 hours and 50 minutes remaining. There has been a lynch

There are 12 players left: Ampelas, Anomandaris, D'riss, Fener, Galain, Karosis, Korbas, Rashan, Sheltatha Lore, Telas, Thyrllan, Tulas Shorn

7 votes required for a lynch, 6 to go to night.

2 votes Sheltatha Lore ( Karosis, Fener)
7 votes Tulas Shorn (Anomandaris, Korbas, D’riss,
Thyrllan, Galain, Telas, Rashan)
1 vote Karosis (Tulas Shorn)
1 vote Ampelas (Sheltatha Lore)

The following players have not voted: Ampelas

--------------------

There were many rumours told about the Transcendentals, but they all had two things in common. By manipulating their inner decimal point, it was possible for them to appear as any number they wanted - their decimal chain provided all the raw materials they needed. And that chain was deadly - they wrapped it around their prey squeezing the life out of them and then assimilating them. It was often said that the reason their decimal expansion was without end was because their murders were similarly endless.

On this day, it was the former point that posed more discussion. "They could be any one of us!" was the rallying cry, and soon arguments broke out. Eventually the group chose to cast out their most foul-mouthed member - for such behaviour was decided to be unseemly for one of their illustrious set. With a shout of "Clearly he's a dirty transcendental!", he was sent to the room of division for a meeting with Zero. Such meetings never end well.

Tulas Shorn (Vengeance) has been lynched. He was a Natural.

I had meant to post this earlier but got dissed by the quote limit and then refreshed to see PS had updated.

Fingers crossed on Tulas, but I'm thinking that this is going to be an inno lynch. You'll normally find killers early on (day 1, 2) hiding in the middle order - so Karosis, Rashan, D'riss, Fener, Thyrllan - these are the people I'd look at right now.

Tulas appears like he's in this same category but actually isn't - if he hadn't roused himself to defend from votes he'd be among the lowest posters.

I agree, bets are that he is an inno. Maybe we got lucky, and the person who was in a hurry and hadn't really read the thread (like scum are known to do) is scum. One does wonder where we would have got today if it wasn't for these posts:

Wise D'riss has noted that Shellys vote on Tulas is without comment. Shelly does NOTHING without comment, so wise D'riss has determined that Shelly is being serious suddenly.

Quote

"Woe unto them that has irked the Lore, for they shall be as a hellhound unto you with idiot drooling and slobbering for the rest of thy days."

D'riss also observes that Tulas seems to have seized on something, perhaps some wheat amidst the chaff. But one wonders if he does not pre-empt the serious stage of the game? Perhaps he is an evil-doer seizing a ripe opportunity to impugn upon another?

Wise D'riss also has used his keen observation skills to note that Galain made early edits to opening posts, with nary an explanation of the erasure. 'Tis suspicious.

I have made some comments now D'riss which you should read so you can get some pointers but yes you are right I am being serious and Tulas is definitely worth voting for because his attempt to run a train on Thyrllan is really suspicious.

Also I think you might want to knock off the role-playing soon because other people might find it annoying soon you know? I know this is day 1 but we've started playing seriously and besides we already have one killer in Tulas so we need to lynch him.

One has hopefully made due notice that D'riss is currently in agreement about the actions of one Tulas Shorn.

Sometimes the slobber hits the mark!

If you are in agreement then maybe you should vote Tulas too so we can start to get him lynched. We don't want to wait till almost deadline because we might risk not getting any lynch at all and that would be worst of all.

I may be back a bit later on, but I wanted to take the time now to say that if Sheltatha's posting continues in the same vein overnight/tomorrow morning then that is who I will be voting for. Their posts are pointless so far and if this continues past the point where everyone else is taking the game seriously then they will just be a distraction that we don't need and make serious discussions of other cases difficult.

I've made a serious case and I don't see why you are ignoring it????? What do you think of Tulas??? Perhaps you should think about contributing more instead of complaing because at the moment you aren't helping team inno.

So a couple of quick observations before work: We have a M&P game as ST has stated in the most explicit and unquestionably clear manner possible, 10 RIs vs 2 paired killers. There was an OP change, so I wouldn't be surprised at some confusion regarding the removal of the symp role.

It is probably obvious to people that SL is playing a straw man game, creating friction to "stir" up trouble. This alone actually does not yet make me suspicious of her. It also seems D'riss now is following suit which is a little suspicious but that just may be the way this game is going.

Right now, a main suspect is Tulas Shorn. His claims that SL makes "perfect sense" and that a Thyr is vote worthy are strange to say the least. TS seems to believe we need to look for codes though, and that is the real reason I am inclined to vote for him. Being an M&P, with no symp, no town roles, there is no reason to code unless one wants to be clever. Why then coding should be integral to our game is beyond me. I would like to hear more on why TS thinks coding will be necessary (if not just to hear him sputter a little).

Vote Tulas Shorn.

Also this kind of makes a bit of sense to me, TS is a relatively low poster so far. Maybe he's trying to avoid attention. Also the looking for codes thing was a bit odd to me as well.

So without furthur ado

Vote Tulas Shorn

At least until someone else seems more...murderous.

It annoys me that I find myself agreeing with this... but I hate taking the almost too easy answer. Anyways, we still have some time yet.

I think that your hesitation to vote makes you really suspicious as Tulas is clearly a killer as I proved when I trapped him in my trap. I think that perhaps you have something to hid - are you the priest????? But if you are then why would you not vote with us on Tulas? Perhaps you haven't quite grasped how to play this game yet, you seem like a noob to me, but if you stick with me I'm sure we can win this thing.

I don't hide my online status, I mightn'y be posting but I'm generally keeping up with the game, mobile device stays logged in most of the day at work.

Waiting to see how TS responds to these few votes, I didn't consider it more than someone being lazy and throwing a vote on the first thing they saw, but it bears closer scrutiny now.
and no Shell, it has nothing what so ever to do with your traps and logic

I think it's pretty clear that no one would have caught Tulas unless I had laid the trap for him - were you even looking for Tulas before I pointed him out. Now I understand that you might be feeling a little annoyed because of my style but trust me I know what I'm doing and I know how to play this game and the sooner we finish this the sooner we can play VAMPIRE: THE MASQUERADE which would be a great idea which I came up with and I'm sure hasn't been done before.

Perhaps if you pay a little more attention to me you can learn how to catch killers too, don't worry I'll point out the second one soon hahahahahahahaha.

OK, so here are my thoughts overall. I don't think we need to quote Shelly, but he's running around like a ferret hopped up on espresso and meth. Nervous much?

We all are fairly certain that we've alted him. While there were several pages of his rambling in the last game, I think he made considerably more sense in that one. So I'm wondering if this guy got a killer role and is desperately trying to be a high poster so as to avoid being considered middle of the road or contentless.

He is most definitely attempting to convey the fact that he is a roleless inno. Probably said it 20 times by now.

Edited stuff below

But if he were a killer, would it be smart to be drawing this much attention? Doesn't seem like it to me, but then again he hasn't been making the most sense so far.

I'm not a killer I'm a roleless inno just like I said. I'm just trying to stay alive as long as possible and help as much as possible and I think I'm doing that. You've got read between the lines when playing this game and that's what I've done and that's how I caught Tulas. A killer wouldn't play like me because I think that only I play like me and I'm not a killer because I was given the roless inno role.

wow, what the mother fucking fuck of this thread is going on. this is incredibly bizarre. shelly is the weirdest fucking thing of all time and the fact that TS agrees with her after she time and time again makes deliberate mistakes (like referring to a "healer" over and over when it's been explicitly stated there isn't one...) is suspicious as all hell. i want to hear serious expla-fucking-nations from TS because this is ridiculous.

i have a few other thoughts on why people are playing the way they are but i think we should wait and see what happens for a bit before we start speculation like that.

i haven't seen a vote count, damn you P-S, but

vote shelly

if nothing else, the distraction will be gone and the severity of the immense misdirection she's putting on thread is as much a threat as anything, right now.

It looks to me like the two alts of this one player have decided to gang up on me which I think we can all agree is pretty suspicious, but they are probably just misguided independent role and hopefully we can turn them around. I am not a threat, as I have said before I am a roleless inno or possibly the priest but I am definitely not scum and you can take my word on it and my girlfriend says you should definitely believe me too TelKorbas.

But I am glad that we all agree that Tulas is definitely a killer so the sooner we lynch them for being a killer the sooner we are halfway to winning this game so that would be great. The one thing I am uncertain of is that if they were one of the killer pair then why isn't the other killer pair telling them to come on and explain things and defend themselves????? Or maybe they are but they are just awol. Or perhaps the killers have only one kill but can't communicate off-thread. I think this is likely.

Sorry I was in a bit of a hurry. Is their a actual question in here? If you have time could you please create a spread sheet that explains exactly what is bad play and what is good play. Because frankely I am sick and tired of someone calling some thing bad play with out explaining what the fuck they are talking about. That would be like me calling your mom a good lay......I don't know personally but at some point your father must have thought so. Now unless you can give me a nice spread sheet (include the headers) with good play and bad play all written out then you will have to describe what the fuck you mean as to how I am making a bad play.

I will be back in a bit. Feel free to use the time to come up with the aforementioned spread sheet.

Tulas if you need pointers on how to play then I will be happy to help you. But we shouldn't go around insulting each other's mums because they are all very precious to all of us. For example I love my girlfriend's mum very much. But yeah if you need tips on how to play then just stick with me and we'll win this thing together - except not in this game because you are probably a killer and I am roleless inno, which puts us on opposite sides, so you are already playing badly by asking tips from me.

well, i'm back and caught up.

Shelly is taking the piss. if it's really bothering you, ignore it. I personally am rather amused by it, it is a pretty good parody. I will maintain that it is never worth lynching people simply because they are annoying. hopefully the role play will end after the first day anyway.

I'd like to hear more from Tulas. a vote like that so early in the game seems odd. lazy townie moves like that tend to be later in the day, when people realise that they won't be online before time out and rush to put a vote down.

i don't think it's wise to ignore shelly - she's not just annoying, she's actually deliberately putting misinformation all over the thread which i cannot for the fucking life of me see how that would help town at all.

No you are completely right Telarosis, you shouldn't ignore me because I've been saying lots of things which make sense. I know I have an annoying posting style hahahahahahaha but I just want to get all my thoughts out there before I am killed because the killers are sure to target me tonight, so it's better that I get all my suspicions out there now so you know who to go for after I am gone. Trust me, just stick with me and you'll be fine.

i can't believe i'm bothering to respond to this but why in god's name would the killers target you? you are the perfect lynch, it would be (pay attention TS) BAD FUCKING PLAY to kill off the most lynchable player left alive, assuming TS gets lynched. also you haven't put forth anything of worth because it's all mixed in with total bullshit, like, "this person is town, and that person is the healer!" that gives us nothing, and so you have contributed nothing.

And Telarosis I think you need to chill and take some pointers from me because you are really starting to play quite badly so you should look at me and see how I do things. After all I already delivered Tulas didn't I. The killers would go for me because I am a big big threat at finding them, the only other person more important is probably Anomandaris because he is really really super smart, but hopefully a healer or something will protect them because we really need him otherwise we are doomed.

People are sheep day one, you basically ran the train. Nice.

Yeah pretty much Fener. The only reason I voted was because it didn't look good for a Shelly lynch.

I still stand by my theory that a killer might be hiding behind being an annoying high poster instead of a low poster this game.

Numeria was mostly quiet that evening. The exception was a strange slurping noise that awoke one or two of the more restless Naturals from their sleep. But come the morning, there was one fewer integer among the set. "May his soul rest in peace, free from the threat of fractions or exponentiation", murmured religious leader Cardinal Aleph Null. His platitudes did little to calm the anxious mob of remaining numbers, many of whom were nervous enough to break out into spontaneous fits of addition (usually an embarrassing social faux-pas).
