Not sure if someone has already made this, or if Gust's fascination with compendia has infected me, but I was wondering if there is a list of all the gods identified so far in Wu and what exactly they're the deities of (Like how Mael is the elder god of the sea, etc.).

If one already exists, sorry for making a new thread, and I'll be on my way. If one doesn't exist, I guess I'm going to make this post one.

Also, spoilers await.

Edit: Note that I have not read most of FoD yet at this point, so most of this information is likely now inaccurate.

I thought the Edur did worship Sukul Ankhadu, Sheltatha Lore, and Menandore, to some extent, as sort of demigoddesses?

I wouldn't directly say she's a goddess of Order. It just so happens that her Darkness aspect is very ordered, but I don't think it's an inherent aspect of her, if you know what I mean.

Fate, or destiny, not chance. Sechul Lath does chance. The Errant's "nudges" alter your fate (ie: he nudged the Sea Guardian's fate for the ancient names not to be forgotten, and nudged Rhulad's fate to be killed instead of lying incapacitated and alive)

I don't know about being a Letheri goddess... even if she is part of the Tiles I'm not sure that means she is worshipped, just like High House positions are not all gods either.

I'd clarify this as "The Blessed Lady", as there are other "Lady" titles, including one from The Healthy Dead that goes by a very similar name.

I don't think he represents anything, he was just a vengeful god.

I don't think we've seen him being outright worshipped in any direct fashion.

I don't think so.

More to add:

-The 4 demonic gods of Quaint from THD (including Lust and her alter-ego Lady form)
-The sea god Hannan Mosag chained
-The 3 known Dal Honese gods
-The Mott salamander god
-Greyfrog's species' (Sirinith?) gods

The Errant is of the Empty Hold (behind the throne, not on it), I believe.

I would say she is a goddess of Order to some extent, the first order in existence. However, it's definitely a secondary aspect, since it happened sort of as a byproduct of her first aspect. Gods can be the deities of multiple things (just take IRL Apollo, or Odin, for example), after all.

Right, but saying she is a goddess of Order is like saying every god and goddess aspected to a warren is a god or goddess of Order. You going to put "and Order" after all of them?

But she was the first who established order. I think that does make some difference. And she seems more squarely aligned against chaos than most other deities.

The reason why I put Order besides her is that she is sort of a linchpin for the whole universe it appears but also because Eriksons magic/elemental system seems to work on many levels. At the core of things she is by far the most likely candidate for a "Champion of Order", like how Darkness and Chaos are the twin chambers of K'ruls heart but yeah it isn't out right stated anywhere.

If it wasn't for the dualistic Darkness/Chaos thing I'd have said the Forkrul Assail's sundered deity would have been of Order.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Icarium had a whole cult worshipping him. He was a god as far as they were concerned.

Does that really have anything to do with MD though, and not just because Draconus semi-arbitrarily decided to use Darkness as Order to fight Chaos? (And then in MoI he admits he made a mistake when he assumed only Darkness could manifest Order)

That is the thing I love about the Malazan magic system/universal order, it's not just what you are in your core, it's also about what other people/entities sees you as and it's also about what the "universe" needs you to be. If Mother Dark needs to represent Order, if worshippers and other gods need her to represent Order, she basically does represent Order, whether she actually wants to or not. Unless she brakes that stereotype her self, by doing something crazy like embracing chaos, or maybe her followers warp her through delusion, then she is Order. At least from an abstract point of view.

For the people who believe in the Mother Dark the Creator of the Universe Origin Myth she certainly must represent Order.
