Watching Miami is so frustrating. The turnovers they are commiting are rediculous.
I don't know if lebron is saving his energy or what, but I hope he does somethingin the second half.

Bosh is my man! 3-4 3 pointers?! He should have turned to paul pierce and said, "I'm so bad!"

That was a fantastic game. umtil the last 5 minutes it could have went either way. It's good to see it didn't just fall on Lebron to win it too.
Go Miami!

I'm looking forward to OKC vs Miami. In fact I'm all on the OKC bandwagon. They will be the team I pull for, at least for a while. I live in Charlotte, NC and our team is the BOBCATS. So you guys can see how I need a DIFFERENT team to pull for, at least for now.
I like to watch OKC. I think they'll lose Westbrook eventually, though. He could end up being the 3rd of 4th best player in the league, with Durant being the top, or at least 2nd only to Lebron. So I can't see OKC being able to keep both Durant and Westbrook beyond 3 years tops. BUT.
In that time, I can see OKC giving every team in the NBA a run for their money over the next 3 to 5, especially if they are able to keep the team together.
I'm giving the Series Championship to OKC in 6. In fact...I say we see a side from OKC's big 3(Hardin, Durant, Westbrook) we HAVE seen, yet multiplied. The big stage brings out the best in players, especially young players who have never been there and want to put on a show. Lebron and company have been there. And Im not taking away from their desire to win, it's just that I think Durant and Westbrook and company are going to be on fiiiiiiiiiiiiire. Durant will be UN-GUARDABLE. I give him 40+ in all 4 wins, with Westbrook 30+ in 2 or 3 of those.

Nah man. Did you see game six of the Heat - Celtics match up? No one balls like Lebron. We aint gonna see none of that Dallas type stuff this year.
Durant and Westbrook are good, but who is to say the same thing won't happen to them that happens to most NBA greats come finals?
Durants unguardable? When Lebron is in his zone, no one can keep up. Westbrook has a sexy mid range and he explodes to the basket at times, but when Wade is at the top of his game - the guy is an animal.
Whose to say though. The finals are all about suprises. Only thing I know for sure is Lebron this year is a different kind of machine. His whole demeanor has changed, his tone, the way he plays ball.
I'm excited.
Edit; I'm alot more interested in what OKCs bigs are gonna do. Heat have no one but Bosh that can really stand up. That will be tops.

I hear you, man. That's why I was PULLING hard for an OKC Miami match up. I can't wait to see Lebron Wade and Bosh go up against Durrant Westbrook and Hardin. And yeah I did watch Lebrons 45 in game 6. He was clutch from all over the place. I still think Durant can ball up with Lebron, and I KNOW Westbrook can ball up with Wade. Its gonna be a good series. I just hope both teams show up at the same time each night. I dont want to see Miami win by 20, then OKC win by 18, back and forth, etc....COULD possibly be such a bad ass series. I still give it to OKC. Say what you want ab out Lebron, but dont forget he came up short as scoring leader to Durant how many times now?
I'll give you that Lebron is unstoppable when he's on, but if you dont think Durant is just as equally unstoppable when hes on, then I don't think you've watched too many OKC games. Spurs are a better team than Celtics, PERIOD, On paper, etc...And OKC worked Spurs harder than Heat worked Celtic.
I still say the favorite will be The Heat. Including Las Vegas point spread.
But Im sticking to OKC in 6.
7 if Lebron wakes up.

LeBron WHO!?
OH SNAP.
Durant 1 - James 0
Westbrook 1 - Wade 0
I told you, man.
Just like the Wu Tang would say back in the day.
OKC AIN'T NUTTIN' TO FUCK WIT.
Nah, but I told you it was gonna EASILY go either way. Easily can lean towards a good Durant - OKC game, or James - Miami game.
I see Miami bouncing back and making it a series. But OKC is THE FUTURE. People are so blinded by how much talent The Heat have, that people haven't fully caught on to just how DOMINANT Durant can be. And Westbrook is amazing. He's what Dwayne Wade was in his prime, maybe a few years ago. 4 years ago.OKC might either sweep them, or go 4-1.

i'm also all up for OKC, that's a nice big win for them, cheers!!
i'm no LeBron hater, but he lacked in the 2nd half, and Durant is also a big 4th quarter clutchman, he delivers when his team needs it, and their bench stepped up, nice work,
i know Miami won't go down without a fight, but they will be working very hard for that if they want it, as Brujah said, OKC is the future, i agree,

It's not who I am underneath.. but what i do that defines me - Batman, Batman Begins; 'Without our deaths, sir, there would be no crime. Thus, no punishment to match,' 'Mortal Sword - '
'We are done, my friend. Now, in this manner, we choose the meaning of our deaths' - Mortal Sword Brukhalian to Veteran Nilbanas, siege of Capustan
'Ippen shinde miru (want to try dying this once) ?' - Jigoku Shoujo (Hell Girl)

We'll see.
I didn't get to watch the game because of work, but from the play by play Miami had all the pieces to win, they just couldn't put it together. Bosh was off his game too, shooting too many 3 pointer attempts after his stellar game before. Batman stood up and had a hot hand. Wade had trouble producing, but Wades wade. He'll sort it out.
There is no future team. NBA is NBA. Players come and go, and they win championships. Not teams.
Start celebrating when its 3-0

Haha! I know, Dr Trouble, I'm JK. I couldnt wait to come on here and RUB IT IN a bit soon as OKC won.
But even I called it. It can go either way easily man. TBH I bet they would go 50/50 if they just did a repeat of a 5 game series over and over. I think they're dead even, atm. Gonna be huge swings in these games. But I told you Durant would score 40 in all 4 games. Well 37 is CLOSE, and I called 30 for Westbrook, 27 is close! Or whatever the final numbers were. They're soooo good, man. Im excited. Plus I know you'll get your revenge on me next game Miami wins.
And by the 'Future of the NBA' comment, I was referring to a run. Maybe not the Bulls of the 90s type of run, but they could have a pretty decent one. Im calling it, now.

I'm not griefing at all. I just don't like to make broad assumptions about the game. I know Durant and Westbrook can score. It's what they do. But in game one they were the only dudes doing it.
I feel if it wasn't for Durant, they would have been fucked. I don't expect another run like that too soon in the series. But then again, Miami are good at repeating mistakes.

Lol, I'll only shit talk if Miami win the series. Plus, it was still a close, intense game.
The best thing about OKC is that you can't fall asleep on them. They were losing the whole game again, but then in the fourth, again, they just came alive. Durant is incredible the way he takes shots in the fourth with complete trust in his shot.
I'd like to believe though that Miami is learning enough to keep them from winning in the fourth. I'm loving Battiers finals performances. 17 points a game, mostly 3 pointers - that shits incredible.
Can't wait till game 3 at Miami! Shittest thing aboutbeing an Australian and following the game is that I'm working during every game and none of them are on a Friday night this finals.

I love Battier, man. He was so amazing when he played for Duke. I'm weird in that I'm a huge UNC Tarheel fan, AND Duke Blue Devil fan, too. That's just not allowed around here. You're either one or the other - with them bring huge rivals, yet being actually so close to each other.
I'm the same way with college football. I'm a huge South Carolina Gamecock fan , but my little sister goes to Clemson, so I pull for both.
I know its odd. I like UNC and Duke for basketball and USC and Clemson for football.
But I got off subject. I can't really say anything except that its been a great two games, and looking forward to the rest of the series. I KNEW it would be a hell of a match up.
And yeah Durant is fearless on those mid range jumpers. That's where he excels over James, imo. But James is better driving to the rim, and a better all Round player. Durant still has a slight scoring edge - as noted as Durant usually edges by James for NBA scoring leader each season lately.

Pay no attention to the scoring title. That shits arbitrary. Kobe was all over that title this year, but gave it up to restful. It means nothing.
The only stat top stat line that really impresses me is MPG. That shows a hard baller.
Also, I can't really follow College ball over here, it's too hard to keep track of games. Which sucks, because I have watched a few and they are good.

So PER, +/-, eFG, Win Shares and Offensive/Defensive Ratings don't ring your particular bell?
Looking at this - http://www.basketbal...s/NBA_2012.html - will show you some surprising stuff. Do discount the offensive rating for Collison, as he hasn't played enough over the playoffs for his real ratings to be sussed out. However, seeing how much more blocks Ibaka has than the next person is ridiculous, alongside seeing how good LBJ's stats have been this playoffs on both the offensive and defensive sides.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.
