Went to Waterstones and got it first thing this morning and laughed out loud at some epic Tiste banter

I'm still waiting for a reply from Kobo for a release date, even though it's out today on the Kindle, I am sorely tempted to crack the wifes' Kindle out and suck it to em for ignoring me.

Came home from work yesterday and my copy was waiting for me.

Can't beat Amazon and the Royal Mail for delivery and that's to the Scottish Highlands to boot.

Just need the time to read it now..................

Dispatched from amazon.co.uk. It begins...

Ditto

-Checks Amazon
-Reads:
Processing for dispatch

What the hell is this processing shit?!? Dispatch already!

Yea I cancelled my Amazon Order just going to stop into one of the Waterstones on my way to work. Usually still get £5 off plus wasn't looking forward to having to wait a week on it being shipped. Plus its pay day tomorrow so I'm not too bothered about paying a bit more and getting it right away.

Don't know how our American friends can wait for weeks on them being shipped. One of the few times I'm glad i live in the UK !

I am an American friend lol. I order it on Amazon.uk so I don't have to wait so long for the US edition to come out.

This is probably the smoothest experience I've had with amazon.co.uk yet. The book should be in today (America).

amazon.uk tells me it has dispatched by deutsche post, but no tracking and the arrival date has distressingly shifted from Aug 7 to Aug 22.

Stand by for bloodshed....

Another Malazan release, and another instance of Abyss getting his book after everyone else. Some things never change.

Do you mean galley as in 'advance copy' or galley as in 'big ship with cannons that i can use to bombard irritating postal locations'?

I'll be picking it up whenever it shows up at the book store. Maybe I'll order it through them. Haven't had good experiences with Amazon.
Laseen did nothing wrong.

I demand Telorast & Curdle plushies.

As per my earlier post, it's finally up on the kobostore for kobo ereaders, still haven't had a reply off them though. I'll be buying it when I have finally read stonewielder.

Amazon.ca just sent me an email delaying the mailing of my copy from Oct 3 to Nov 5, so I guess it is anyone's guess when it will arrive. So sad in Canada.
