I should get an early read. . . But how early now that the book comes out in about a month, I have no idea. . .
And I promised Werthead that I'd try to get you guys the map of the new continent!
Cheers,
Patrick

I have it at home read about 200 pages.
They may cut your dick in half
And serve it to a pig
And though it hurts, you'll laugh
And dance a dickless jig
And serve it to a pig
And though it hurts, you'll laugh
And dance a dickless jig

It would be really cool if you(and others) gave your overall impression of the book every 100 pages you read or so, non spoilery ofcourse. Thanks in advance.

Same for me. Should get it by Wednesday/Thursday, so I know what I'm going to be doing this weekend. And I can finish off Red Country now... been taking my time with it because it's so good, and because I had nothing new to read after it.

Shipped. Will be going in a queue, though, so I probably won't be reading it for a while yet.

I'm waiting for the TPB on this one. The last couple soured me on HC purchases.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

MODGOD notice of thread split....
To avoid those of us waiting/looking for it being spoiled by those of you who already have it (and we hatesesss them, oh yes we do.....), i've split the discussion among those who already have the book or want to ask them about it to it's own 'Just got it!' thread HERE .
carry on...

Was it just 9 months and half since the last Esslemont book? That was fast.
If we count everything this year we got:
- Orb, Sceptre, Throne
- This River Awakens (that I still consider the true masterpiece)
- The Devil Delivered
- The Wurms of Blearmouth
- Forge of Darkness
- Blood and bone
Not too bad
