I think Serc is the priest. He said "Repent your sins" and he was accused of being independent. Sins (and the thing that preaches against them (religion)) have to do with priests (priests are not sinful etc etc) and the priest is independent, as was stated in the OP.

In the night, the moans of zombies resounded up and down the stairwell. Each group cowered on their floors, some rushing from room to room, others taking the risk to travel the stairwells to keep an eye on the rival groups.

On one floor, a deadly pair stood over a sleeping figure, struck by its innocence, then left without committing the violence they intended.

Elsewhere, several zombies grabbed a Medic from where he stood over the fallen dog, ripping him to pieces on top of the corpse. A pair of figures appeared later, only to find their target already dead.

The third pair of violent humans poisoned a sleeping figure, but the healer of the group managed to remove the poison before it could have any affect.

In another place, a group of zombies inexplicably fought and failed to kill their mark, killing human after human but never finding the true target.

Silanah (Shinrei) is dead. He was Medic Irwin Wade of the BurnBridgers.

It is now day 2, the clock is frozen.

Given that there may be clues in this scene (according to PS), we've got:

-set of paired killers failing for an unknown reason

-zombie kill of Shin, who was also targetted by killers

-last killer pair had the target dead, but target was healed.

-Not quite sure what the last line could mean put together. Obviously the zombie kill failed, but killing human after human could mean something?

Yeah, BP may be right, was kinda considering that as the only logical choice.



On the zombie front, the death of a medic (DR-2+1) means that for a kill, not a recruit, Shin had to have been hit by at least 4 zombies. Given that I still believe it a group of 4 alt zombies, controlled by 1 zom-boss, it is likely that Shin also had another +1DR buff that would have prevented recruitment. So that ultimately the zombies of 5, killed the medic with DR of 4.

The medic was from a faction who was already down a player. This could be why he was the one to die.
Possibly the two human killers from each faction had a Target. Then the zombies a target or targets.
I'm guessing with sorrit down, their medic died. He possibly had some type of Dr buff or protection that of.course couldn't be used.

Although the Priest is independent he looks to have the ability to keep us all alive or some of us at least if the zombies target us.

Why on earth would you point this out?
