Tapper. Do you need to clear your inbox? I tried to PM you and I was told you can't receive any new PMs. We still co-playing? If not I can stumble around like an idiot and get creamed by the vets.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Before I start floundering like a dead fish, can someone tell me how to use JDip?
Or are we simply sending our orders to the adjudicator?

jdip is just a program, I'll upload a current ctate of play file every turn so you can open it in jdip to experiement with moves or whatever.
For actual moves you submit them to adjudicator via pm

eta - sorry, to use jdip, install, open the program, file start new game, stanard, then just start clikcing and see what happens :p

Why is the deadline for making moves a week? I know that there should be a couple days for negotiations but a week? That seems excessive. Though with the rate people are responding to their PMs maybe a week isn't long enough. Maybe we should lower the time to submit moves to 36-48 hours with a weekend break in there. With the shorter time frame that might actually get people to, you know, actually respond to pms.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

It isn't odd for the moves to be delayed a week or two for some reason.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Well that's upsetting? What's the point of playing the game if you don't play the game? I vote if you miss the deadline you get a one time 12 extension after that go ahead and resolve. What does everyone else say?

Probably that I'm a filthy liar and one of those who delayed the game. :(
