HMmmm...I had a gut feeling on HD from the start too. The way He jumped on Silencer right from the git go pinged my radar, Reminded me of the way Bent used to play many moons ago. I will have to read up the rest of his posts when I get up. Maybe, need sleep bad and may end up sleeping right up till I have to go back to work.

This where I first voiced it HD.

Alright, awake. We've got what, ten hours left, nine?

Who wants me to prove I'm inno and in the process do something we're probably never meant to do? :)

Thanks PS - So yeah, I got HD and Stalker as scum with a JA or Dk symp. This is purely a guess, but based on the Dude and Shin being dead, that leads me to believe that. Going to read 41 through the present.
So you posted this, but never really got a chance to explain your reasoning, which I would love to know. Cause right now it looks like a wifom argument, and as we all know wifom usually works great to pick out scum.

I think that Hd is scum, because of the 42 pages that I did read (didn't feel like reading 43-82)HD looked like a high posting middle of the road player trying to spam the thread and not be committal. As Bubba implied, in the past, before I learned to stop playing like scum when I was scum, I would do this and grab all kinds of attention whle my partner would talk all serious and be very helpful. This would cause the desired effect of distancing because I would be the high poster and he would be the lower to mid poster. If he got caught, I would always last longer, and vice versa. Now play the same as scum or town, this is good because i can get lynched as town and not be detrimental to the team, but when I am scum, everyone thinks I am playing like I am town. Meta is really useful to a professional killer.

As to why I think you, Stalker, are his partner, you fall in the second area of low to middling posts, very professional and serious and contemplative at times, but very little spam (again this is only reading the first 42 pages). I could pull quotes but that would take all night. So while you may say its gut, and it is, it is an educated hypothosis, based on how typical scum partners play, with the fact that HD is usually a spammer, but much more focused when he gets a couple of votes on him, but he seems to be shrugging them off, as "I may as well get lynched" (This isn't strawmanning HD, this is your attitude at the beginning of Day 2.) Alot of meta there, but the fucking game is played on meta, we are vets and know each other, I know HD plays better than he has been in this game because he sucks as scum. He tries too hard.

As to why I think DK or JA as symp - Honestly its blind fear of those 2 guys. Dk can talk his way out of a lynching better than any other player I know and JA can convince you that you are scum and get you to vote for yourself.(unless you convince him that you are a 3rd finder and get him to lynch a gaurd for ou, like in Obis game)

So there are my reasons.

I'm glad we both could give a lesser fuck about the others' opinion. It just happens to be "gut" based on someone up in the top 2 for lynching. Too easy Bubba. That's what I don't like about it.But, oh well. Have fun with that.Edit: I'm doing that non-quoting thing again. I guess I'm used to lesser activity. @Bubba obviously.

See, heres a point on that - he says "Too easy Bubba. That's what I don't like about it.But, oh well. Have fun with that."

THis is setting itself up for a self vote when 3 votes are needed to lynch late in the day. As scum this is a very easy and clasic move to bluff town into switching to someone else. This is what I used to do, hell occasionally I might go emo and still do it, but its too early. This is bad scum play. If you waited until you got 3 votes HD and then acted pissy and then resigned yourself to your fate, and THEN set yourself up for the self vote, you might have a better chance. But this sad emo HD this early in day 2 screams rookie mistake, like when I played in my first game as scum and said "If I die tonight..." rookie mistake, but the vets jumped on that. Thats what I am doing now.

My electricity keeps going off because of all the tornadoes and whatnot. If you don't hear from me for awhile, it'd probably be because of that and my laptop's shitty battery that is dead.

Same situation here, 2 tornados touched down within 30 miles of my house so far today, nothing major but the storm hasn't really gotten here yet. Hope your safe, and I will try to lynch you so you don't have ot worry about the power going out anymore. :)

Oh hello everyone.

So, I uh, got a bit busy once I actually GOT to uni, and then I was suddenly on the bus home, then straight to work, then home for dinner, now finally getting online. Going to be in like an hour, too, just fyi. Does that account for my absence? :)"

And don't give me that "practically voted night" crap; anyone who didn't vote on day one or who voted for an unsuccessful train is doing exactly the same thing, and you all know it. There was no clear leader and it was, as they say, typical day one cases all around, so it's not like placing a vote would have actually affected the lynch outcome AT ALL. Fuck off.

Moreover, notice that our beloved high-posters are carefully giving themselves lynch options, but are always keeping our horrible, dirty low-posters at the forefront of everybody's minds. :asuspicious:

If everyone did this we wouldn't have any lynch at all, making day 2 a new day 1, and then you do it again and day 3 becomes another day 1...

Even if it is a while before timeout, it is better to put an opinion and vote down than nothing. Not only does it give the thread something to work from and might help achieve a lynch, but it also puts a reinforced opinion from you on-thread. Instead, you abstained and as a result now no one has any sort of read on you because it seems like you haven't given any opinions or contributed much at all, and naturally that seems suspicious.

Herp derp, if everyone low-posted we wouldn't have a game at all, either, but here's the thing: it's NOT everyone, it was ME. Besides which, this is a vets game. Are you seriously claiming we never fail to get a lynch on day one? Do you not recall the fact that as of the last game I played we practically hadn't had a day one lynch in excess of twenty games? It happens ALL THE TIME and very rarely is it the fault of the one guy who chose not to vote because it was literally nothing cases. And look, Lizra still got lynched! And I'd hardly have been voting Lizra for a 'case' that applies equally well to me - if not BETTER, seeing as Liz actually just had jack-all posts - anyway. So where is the problem?
And I put down my opinion. Are you not getting that? My opinion was NOTHING WAS WORTH VOTING FOR AND LOCKING MY VOTE ONTO A TRAIN WOULD HAVE EITHER NULLED MY VOTE JUST AS WELL OR WOULD HAVE PUSHED A TRAIN ARBITRARILY DUE TO NUMBERS. AHURR DURR. So have you got my opinion? YES. Did you have the same opinion yesterday when I signed off? YES. Even inaction is a choice, D'rek.

So you're flinging arguments my way that are predicated on extrapolation to group behaviour and flimsy complaints about lack of opinion. Whooo. Aren't we a god-tier mafia player. I mean, heck, LOOK AT ALL THE INFO YOU GOT OFF PEOPLE'S VOTES YESTERDAY. OH WAIT.

in other news: i went out to buy books because it's a "buy3, get 4th free" event in chapters. Picked up 8 books, OST among them.

get to the cash register... to realize I forgot my wallet.

On my way back home, the bus driver nearly swerved into ongoing traffic, b/c the roads are covered in snow (oh, yeah: beginning of March and we get serious winter starting), he then proceeds to miss my stop, and as I trufde home, the snow's nearly a foot high (As I left, walking in runners I was fine. not anymore).

so, in shor,t i'm cold, miserable, and OST-less. oh, and starving.

Mine'd be funner. Perhaps.

Like I said. This game isn't M and P.

Hoosier; probably not. We've already had two deaths at night, I know my role. Based on that, I can say this is at least TMDI 2 or 3. That's still kind of M&P though. If you've got something ridiculous, we're possibly looking at four or even five. Which is decidedly not M&P and someone is messing with us. :)

It's not ridiculous but it's certainly not M and P. Add up enough not M and P but not ridiculous and you are quickly into the 4's and 5's.
