Since scum have off thread comms, why put codes on thread?

The chance of you pointing out scum for a finder to hit seem significantly lower than the chances of you pointing out a role for scum to hit. For one it is more likely for innos to put codes on thread, for two we know there are scum we don't even know if we've got a finder.

Not only that, but since you couldn't decode thus making it a "moot point" would it not have been better to see if it was a moot point or not before announcing it on thread, in case he is roled?

HMmmm...I had a gut feeling on HD from the start too. The way He jumped on Silencer right from the git go pinged my radar, Reminded me of the way Bent used to play many moons ago.
