I'm around but working and packing, so will only sporadically post. I didn't see anything unusual about JA's vote, in all honesty, and as for Grief's reaction, well that shift from joking to serious play was sudden, but I guess if he really thinks he's spotted something...
JA's explanation for his vote looks to be an attempt to turn the tables back on Grief, rather than what JA actually intended with the vote (i.e. a joke). Perhaps he felt threatened by both Grief and Ment tag-teaming him? I agree it's strange he didn't just admit it was a joke vote. Grief, on the other hand, just looks like wanting to latch on to the first thing he can. Doesn't mean he can't be right, but personally I'm thinking it's a big push to call scum on that.

I have a very simple explanation.
subconsciously, we're all collectively scared shitless of JA, and we're looking for any excuse to get rid of him.

Duh.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

JA's not what he once was - I haven't seen him been anything but two shades of impotent since I returned to this game.
Oooooooooooh!

It's day one, and it was the first thing to catch my eye as a bit off. Someone has to push something a bit seriously to start the game off, regardless of the fact that early day one cases are rarely strong.

yeah, we ahve a new q21. goes by the name of twelve.
wait a minute.
twelve =12. spelled backwards... it's.....21! and if you add the numerical values of all the letters that make up 12, after a number of transformations I CBA to do right now, i'm sure you can come up with the numerical value of q!!
It's all so obvious!!!! how could we not have seen it before?????

The case on him isn't bad...which undoubtedly means it's completely wrong
