Venge hasn't even posted yet, seems a bit of a weird place to choose to push.

Obviously, it was not Venge's reaction I wanted to see.

only way this ever possibly works is if you suspect the perso youre poking is scum.

Vote Silencer.

He's playing too smooth.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Casting deliberately stupid votes and then claiming they got a reaction when they get called on being stupid is, and always has been, a ridiculous tactic.

Explain how my vote was stupid.

It seems I missed the mysterious, unwritten line somewhere between page 2 and a half and page 3 and a tenth where joke votes aren't allowed anymore and become stupid votes.

You catch me do this with time running out, or on day 2, then I'll accept the abuse, but for now I wonder where the hell it came from.

Anyways, off for diner.

Your vote is stupid because venge hadn't posted yet so there is nothing to suspect him on, which raises questions of why you chose him for a vote of all the people in the same boat.

However, it's really the justification that I have an issue with. It really irks me that we let people off so easily with poor votes if they just claim "Oh, I was doing it for a reaction".

Doing something like casting a weak vote for a reaction is stupid because the reaction is completely justified. Pointing at it and going "ooh look, a reaction, something fishy here" when the reaction was provoked by deliberately bad play that deserved a reaction is not useful play in the slightest.

Claiming something was done for a reaction is a poor argument, but for some reason seems to work regularly as a get out of jail free card for making poor votes or cases.

you vote for someone yet to post, and try to make sound like a serious vote, providing elaborate, madeup reasoning. Its easy to perceive smth like that asa joke vote, but the amount of words makes it look as if its not.

Joke votes are fine.

Your vote just doesn't sit right though. It seems like it's trying to be a joke vote to fit in. It's easy to see where the other joke votes come from - yours just seems out of the blue.

Silencer is where the real threat lies.

No one is paying any attention to him!
