And if someone doesn't give their thoughts on Dkt, or a case of their own, or something worthwhile, then I will start adapting Bon Jovi :)

it's funny because I just thought of Bon Jovi after reading your last post.

And look, it was an effective way of getting posts.

I dunno about Dkt.

his he wasn't probing as much as he usually does when inno, it's true.
but thinking of him as scum, the only person he synchs up with in that regard so far is JA, and if that's truly the case, we may as well stamp CASE NIGHTMARE GREEN over the thread right now

Ok, so a short summary of what strikes me as off with DK.

DK, as an inno, tends to go after people. He attacks a lot of people strongly for information, gets the game going etc.

This game he has been aggressive against the spammers.

I'm fine with that.

I'll take the heat for a bad lynch.

I maintain that day one lynches are random crapshoots.

What's new?

Read the past couple pages. DKT is trying to argue that day 1 is the BESTEST DAY AND THAT ALL DAY ONE LYNCHES ARE PERFECT.

Or something to that effect.

More strawmanning.

No i am simply arguing that day one is not as "useless/pointless" as you would like everyone to believe.
Big difference there boyo.

Day one lynches are pointless. They are random crap shoots.

Ok, have it your way, But i would rather have a "random crapshoot day one lynch" on someone who is making the game harder for innos...

Quote

And if you can't be bothered to spend an hour rereading the thread (or a couple more to do it multiple times) over the weekend to check on stuff during the weekend break, then why the fuck are you playing? Day one does not become relevant until there are less people playing or you lynch a scum, unless you want to are just trying to find any reason to build a case on anyone and my (and apparently only my) spam is preventing you from doing that?

you are clearly utterly clueless.
Why do you keep bringing up my apparent lack of willingness to read the thread?
Which delusional fucking world are you getting this from?
Dont you understand that your spamming makes team inno's job harder, now and later on?
Dont you get it?
It has nothing to do with my willingness to read the fucking stuff.
Its got to do with the sheer amount of shit on thread every one needs to sift through to find anything worth while commenting on.
you give the scum a perfect place to hide. If you are not hiding amongst your own spam that is!
Look now we have spent most of the day talking about your fucking spam...well done.

are you purposefully being so dense? i dont think so.
Even if day one is pointless, it doesnt mean that we must just accept our fate and have a fucking laugh.
At least fucking TRY for gods sake!.

But after the spam dies down this seems to fizzle out. He is against them on principle, but doesn't do much to strongly go after anyone. He doesn't even strongly go for HD, who he has in the same category as the people he was railing against for spamming.

Any thoughts DK?

Would like to hear what you think of Liz and HD.

Would also like people's opinions on whether paired roles are outlandish for M&P.

Liz...no opinion really.
4 posts or something. low poster.
Would go that way for a lynch.

HD is a decent bet, likes to sit in the corner and comment on everything but never really gets stuck in.
But i pretty much put HD in the same chatagory as Obdi and ment really.

Paired roles? in this game?...who knows. Could be.
You can never tell...

What a non-committal post.

The following again non committal almost to the point of disinterest. Doesn't offer any suggestions for who he'd rather lynch etc.

lizra for being a low poster?...on day 1....classy

To be fair, low posting works irritatingly well, because we tend to vote people who have something even remotely scummy rather than someone with very little of anything at all. If we lynched low posters more often people might contribute more.

yea but like day 2...if my internet didnt bomb out last night and i couldnt get to a comp today (like i wont be tomorrow as i am at a conference)
i would be getting voted for simply not having internet.

i know what you mean....its just kinda shitty to do it day one in my books.
There are too many extenuating circumstances for a day one lynching of low posters.

meh...

having said that...push comes to shove i would go that way if need be.

More of the same:

@HD, yes you did some attacks, but i felt yout target were on the safe side. What were the odds that Silencer or Lizra would come and open the woopass on you?

this is true.

Just doesn't sit right with me. It's not how I'm used to him playing at all.

Well you see Barghast, i'm not insulting players in this game in general, i was expressing my anger at the bad decision made in lynching okaros, and if you want a better explanation of that ask vengeance, who explained to me that we can all be friends on the forum, but in mafia making friends or being cordial at all is like: and i paraphrase: going to jail wearing only panties, youre gonna get fucked

So out of all of us, it's Vengy's words of wisdom that are getting through to them :/

Yeah mafia is kind of nasty compared to the rest of the forum on the surface of things - you just need to realise that it's just crap talk within the game and the community is actually friendly outside of that.

Also ever taking any of Venge's advice is a poor call.

Majoring in English. It's good mostly, though can vary a lot depending on what piece you're studying. The pretentious stereotype can be remarkably true, of the students and the professors, which gets irritating at times but is mostly just amusing.

A fellow Arts man, excellent. I was afraid you'd be one of those medical types like Gust, or, even worse, a lawyer like Ment. I did History, just completed my PhD a while back and now doing a post-doc. And yes, a lot of the stereotypes are true here too. Like academics living in their ivory tower thinking their research is the most important thing in the universe etc. But the freedom is awesome.

Come to think about it I know almost nothing about the man behind the avatar. Are you a student? In employment? A criminal mastermind?

Cool, I'm doing modules of modern history for a couple of years until I switch to pure English for honours.

What particular part did you specialise in?
