Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

I'll reiterate:

The really, really pissed off white people who were anti-Obama, anti-Clinton (SCANDALS!), anti-NAFTA are coming out in force.

Only solace I have is that there are more white college graduates than there used to be, but lots of them are pissed off Millenials.

I'm not a happy or optimistic camper right now.

HRC looks to have the electoral vote looking at the numbers, I thought the numbers would be +/- 2% for popular vote on this side of the country...still too early too tell. Just the sense I am getting so far....

I kinda thought trump would get Michigan though...due to what you listed.

Called:

For Trump: Lousiana, Texas, Kansas, Nebraska, North and South Dakota, Wyoming

For Clinton: New York

Too Close: Minnesota, Ohio, North Carolina, Georgia, New Hampshire, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Michigan

Too Early: Colorado, New Mexico, Missouri, Maine

NOT LOOKING GOOD.

Minnesota and Michigan should have been called.

This is fucking awful.

Trump is going to be president and have the keys to the fucking nuclear codes and nuke someone because they pissed him off on Twitter.

Considering I was about ready to throw up before I voted, I've been concerned.

Deep breaths. Deep breaths.

I'll stop posting.

No, I meant that as a good thing. We should all die of heart attacks before we have to live in an America under President Donald J Trump. It's our only way out.

Do you trust 538 which gives Trump an almost 36% chance or everyone else who thinks he has no chance?

Definitely 538. It's going to be a fairly close one. I still think he'll lose though.

Your friendly reminder to trust 538.

This is the apocalypse, Trump is winning and the Cubs won the world series already. I should have built that bunker instead of remodeling my kitchen and bathroom.

Those union states are big deals right now to me..

Clinton is really winning the popular vote if you consider the numbers...

States that are reliably one way or another are counted first.

The 'swing' states haven't finished counting yet.

Just wait and see what happens.

538 don't let me down.

Everything seems to show it's all up to what everyone thought it would be, the West coast doesn't matter. Oddly enough it will come down to eastern time zone states, specifically Fl, NC, Oh, and Mi
