Still waiting for him to say a single concrete thing. Besides "I never claimed Climate Change is a hoax instigated by China" -- an outright lie -- and "you've been fighting ISIS your entire adult life" -- too crazy a statement even to count as a lie.

Is this real life? This dude is a major party nominee?
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Is it me or is he practically crushing Hillary?

He is weaving a sweatshirt of bullshit, but it is thick enough to conceal her entire being.

It might be just you. He's literally said nothing smart, and many many many dumb things.

I'm tempted to agree with you. But again, I'm looking at it from his supporters point of view, and many of them don't care/can't recognize what is smart. He has, however, used ad hominem attacks to perfection against her. He doesn't need to be smart, he just needs to bluster his way through and undermine her credibility.

Also did he just defend stop&frisk for 2 straight minutes?

He's doing a great job of securing votes he has already secured. How does this convince anybody on the fence he's ready to be POTUS?

Also, depends on why you are watching and what you are looking for in the debate?

My favorite part was when he denied that S&F was found unconstitutional.

Indeed. And I doubt he's going to sway any voters he didn't already have by "UGH"ing loudly when she mentions black communities in a positive light, or by continuing to profess the virtues of Stop & Frisk, one of the grossest practices in modern policing.

Haha I missed a few posts, so S&F was covered, but I really think his performance is lousy. I don't think she's delivered a knock-out punch, but I think she's letting him tie his own noose.

Clinton is doing better now, Trump is now interrupting less.

I don't think Trump is saying really dumb dumb stuff by any means though.

His job's part was good. His Debt part was really valid. Gun's goes to Clinton. Social Policies is definitely going to Clinton.

What did he say about jobs except "don't let them leave"?

What does he understand about the US debt? He seems to think we owe China 20 trillion dollars. Of course it's embarrassing that infrastructure devolved while the debt has ballooned. But presenting trickle down economics as the answer to that should get you pulled off the stage by a giant hook ala the Apollo Theater.

The interest rate was an amazing point...that politicians don't want to talk about...Yellen playing politics...etc etc

You owe 20 trillion...what happens if you raise rates... Math wins..is what happens.

She's spent hundreds of millions of dollars on negative ads about me...and some of them were even untrue!

Great argument there.

I think he looked and sounded terrible, and don't agree at all that his answers about Yellen or the interest rate were sound, but I suppose they might score with lay people since he was saying, you know, economic terms. He must be a financial genius if he knows who Yellen is. As if any administration at this level wouldn't know the trivia answers.

Overall, this was disappointing. I expected fireworks but all I got was a relatively toothlessTrump with a slightly worse hairdo and Hillary spilling her usual spiel. We heard nothing about Trump's penis or HRC's menstruation and he didn't make up a new nickname for her.

Sad.

Yes, I have turned into a troll. Yes, I do frequent r/TheDonald.

It's the post-debate Trump where you're gonna get your fix of crazy.

For instance, he's already blaming the microphone. And those who provided the microphone.
