Biden has pulled ahead in Georgia by 900 odd votes. Surely he won't be up a substantial enough lead for it not to be challenged? So all eyes back to PA and Nevada?
Yeah, they were never going to use GA to call the presidency for Biden on the networks. It's too close; it was never going to be anything but close.
Since Fox has already called Arizona for Biden, and that call is looking safer and safer as time goes on, I would not be surprised to see Fox call the election for Biden as soon as Clark County reports in Nevada this morning (at about 11am ET, or 3.5 hours from now). AZ will be reporting a big batch of votes around the same time, so that should clarify whether the AZ call is still safe. AZ+NV=270 for Biden.
Biden will probably surpass Trump in PA before then, and PA alone would be enough to put Biden over the top for the presidency, but the networks would probably rather wait for a big lead in PA before calling it and use safer states to call it, and since Fox already called AZ (slightly controversial), they have little to lose by calling NV, which could have already been called since most of the outstanding vote is from Clark, a very blue county (home of Las Vegas). Nate Silver was wondering last night why no one was calling it after it was clarified that most of the remaining vote was in Clark. NV is done. But, it will be officially done in a few hours.
