Hopefully January runoffs in Georgia for control of the Senate will prevent McConnell from going scorched earth / salt the fields before Biden comes into office. Then again, maybe McConnell could blame it on Trump....
If COVID-19 relief to save the economy depends on Democrats winning the Senate in Georgia... at the very least a lot of money would pour into the race. Not sure how much good that will do---not clear how much it helped in the many races that were lost in spite of a massive spending advantage for the Democratic candidates. But the people of Georgia might be motivated to vote. (Unless McConnell pretends he'll be good until after the election, and they buy it....)
'Lou Dobbs demands Republicans "surround" Philadelphia and exert a "demanding presence"
DOBBS: Philadelphia looks like a cesspool electorally. Why in the world wouldn't the Republicans surround that thing and, if you will, you know, at least apply a little -- what would you call it -- some sort of scent?
A lot of observation and -- and a real rigorous, demanding presence in those counting rooms and the -- the polls themselves? '

'A GOP-Linked 'Stop the Steal' Facebook Group [Was] Gaining Thousands of Members a Minute"
[...] The group was set up in the wake of repeated and false claims by Trump that the election is somehow being stolen by the Democrats, and in addition to disinformation, it features calls for violence.
"Grab your guns, the second amendment is not about hunting, and how many bullets you need it about taking down a tyrannical government," one user wrote, adding, "I will fight to the death for every American."
Another said: "My guns are ready, all 15 assault rifles I own that I won't be giving up."
In response to a post about the debunked SharpieGate conspiracy, one user said: "Guns out."
Another member said: "Believe it or not I know many who stocked up on guns ammo myself included I don't know what the future holds we can just pray to God that Trump will prevail in the end."
Dozens of members advocated for "civil war" to resolve the situation.
And those members advocating for an armed response are now being directed to a real-world event by the group's administrators.
"We will be sharing the locations where the vote counts will be happening in the contested states," an event page organized by the group's administrators said. "If you can't make it to any of those locations, we encourage you to organize a local rally to demand transparency and to count the LEGAL votes."
The event is due to take place on Saturday and thousands of members have already confirmed their attendance despite the unknown location.
[...] When new members join they are asked if they have signed up for updates from a companion website, "in the event that social media censors this group."

'Meet the MAGA Clowns Soliciting Cash Off "Stop the Steal" Panic
A Facebook group aimed at quashing a Biden victory gained more than 360,000 members within the first two days of its existence, before Facebook appeared to ban the group Thursday afternoon. People associated with the page have written for Breitbart, been named in federal cases over a "Build The Wall" scam, and registered the website "transracialism.com."
The group was also soliciting donations.
[...] "Stop the Steal" (a slogan pioneered by GOP "dirty trickster" Roger Stone in 2016, when Trump's chances briefly flickered) [...]
[...] Among the group's administrators were two Breitbart alumni recently hit with warrants in a bust over a half-baked border wall scheme that led to criminal charges against former Trump advisor Steve Bannon. [...]
[...] Stockton and Lawrence recently returned to public consciousness when they were served warrants (albeit no charges) related to "We Build The Wall," an alleged scam that raised tens of millions from donors who wanted the group to build a wall along the U.S.'s southern border. We Build The Wall's leader, Steve Bannon, was charged with fraud in relation to the campaign. [...]
[...] Multiple members demanded not a recount, but an entire new election, asking whether the country could be compelled to go cast their ballots a second time, just to be safe.
Some advertised new in-person rallies including, bafflingly, a pro-Trump truck caravan in the solidly blue state of California. And some called for armed rebellion, with one asking "IF they give this to Joe, how do we go about overthrowing the government?"
Facebook deleted the page on Thursday.'
