If you are town Korbas, and you lynch me, Rashan will recruit you in the night and cult wins. Yes, that means you would 'win' too, but remember trying to fight it out for your own team *until* you are recruited?

I'm not sure why Rashan has taken it upon himself to lie. He's cult. Sorrit confirmed it.
He lied.
Sorrit manipulated you into killing him so he could recruit one of me or Korbas and end up with you, 1 town and 1 cult so that you wouldn't win but cult could still tie. He didn't recruit me, so he either recruited Korbas or didn't do anything and now its 2 town vs you.
And you fell for it sooo easily.

On the other hand, Rashan, if you really are town and aren't lying, then for the same reason you should be thinking about lynching Korbas before he recruits *you*.
If either of you are worried about me killing you in the night after, then simply don't lynch anyone and vote night. Then it's a lottery to see who gets recruited, who gets killed, etc

First of all you're assuming that the recruiting ability passes on from person to person, and since I don't think Sorrit started as cult leader it means you think it passes an unlimited number of times? How would town have the slightest chance in sucha case?
But let's pretend you're right, I am cult and can recruit and Korbas is town and you are... you.
Korbas can vote me, you NK him and he loses as town.
Or he can vote you, and the game ends immediately in a town-cult tie.

Actually, I considered the option that you weren't recruited, particularly when you came on and made no hint towards that being the case. But then I dismissed it as irrelevant. If it's truly 1 scum, 1 town, 1 cult, then we all draw - yey!
Because you cannot go against your team's interests. If I am voted off, then town gets recruited and cult win. That is not in town's interests so they can't do that. Draw

I would like to shorten it more but Korbas doesn't usually get on for a few more hours so I'm giving him a chance to get on and cast his vote.

Since you have a NK, voting night means either I or Korbas die tonight and tomorrow no lynch is possible so the other dies the next night - scum wins.
You're trying to use the rule that Korbas has to pursue his faction's best interests to justify him making an elaborate suicide that will result in you winning and him (and his faction) losing, when he could do something else and there's the possibility of him winning or tieing the game. How does that make any sense?

You're right though. The options are:
I win, or cult wins. There is no draw. Now, I understand y'all would be attracted to the idea of winning, but think about how you've been manipulated into doing it, and essentially winning by being 'moved' into the winning team. Sure, you'd lose if you let me live, but at least you would lose with your head held high, continuing to be your own man.

Head held high? Letting you win by losing myself is the exact opposite of anything that would make me glad or proud.
Losing to bring you down with me just to spite you on the other hand...

Not at all!
You're trying to sway Korbas and me with lofty emotional arguments about having our heads held high and blah blah blah.
I, on the other hand, presented upfrontedly all the possible cases and the logical steps to take for each of them, because of course Korbas is playing mafia and therefore won't trust anything I or you say. He doesn't have to trust me though because I demonstrated that in every possible scenario lynching you is the superior move.

Really, I think you shold have kept the reasons for why you were really voting Olar a secret, and made a case on them, rather than coming and essentially saying "yeah, look, that's the PM I got too, and Olar didn't, so they're not town."

But I'm the cult master, how could I have known it was a real signal and not just Day 1 shenanigans?
And if you look at day 2 I was trying to get past that (he could've been roled town, after all) and was pursuing a different case, OE hadn't even been brought up yet all day. I was very much on the Ruse train at that point:

You know I think Ruse is Innocent and has recruitment ability, how about that Tennes? Creating imaginary roles is my thing here I guess. Well, you know what, let's shift attention elsewhere for a second. Ruse' reveal wasn't the best but I don't know what he can say. In fact I was about to give you something to chew on but i'll ask about that first. We see it time again that those playing scummy are the ones to get lynched or attention and are therefore exempt from night actions as scum think them lynchable and therefore the low posting people or smooth players are the ones to get targeted. Well maybe I decided to play the way I am playing to look as lynchable as possible but yet not be lynched, I want to look scummy but I am not shirking on my duty to try and help town. The initial vote fener idea was in response to someone's idea of voting night, I didn't hop on to that train of thought and try and get them lynched cause I could see one way of it benefitting town. I still think my vote fener thing was a good way of voting night instead of voting night if that is what the masses decided to do. You guys are making me feel like giving up on my quest to find scum and I don't give a shit if you lynch me. What is grating me is that there are 4 scum players who are able to control the thread by picking off the most scummy looking players, but I don't think scum play scummy, I think they play differently than that and smarter than that. But yeah, go along with whoever wants to vote fener or thinks aloud on thread that's fine by me. I just think when you see my cf you'll be a pissed off with my play.
