I didn't feel the need to hammer yet, personally. If kesso felt the need that's his business.

If I did hammer, I don't see how that would say one way or the other toward me having a double vote. If you could clarify?

It is Day 3. There has been a lynch.

15 Players still alive: Atrahal, Fener, Karatallid, Kessobahn, Korlat, Korvalain, Liosan, Okaros, Olar Ethil, Omtose, Sheltatha Lore, Shadow, Sorrit, Tiamatha, Tulas Shorn

8 Votes to Lynch. 8 to go to night.

4 Votes Tulas Shorn: Karatallid, Liosan, Shadow, Olar Ethil
8 Votes Liosan: Atrahal, Tulas Shorn, Sheltatha Lore, Fener, Omtose, Korvalain, Sorrit, Kessobahn

Players not voting: Korlat, Okaros, Tiamatha

Kagemasa Takuro jogged up the trail. At least it looked like a trail, and he hoped it was. He had separated from the column hours ago on orders to scout the surrounding hillside and had unfortunately become lost. He had hoped to prove himself useful, but now he was beginning to doubt if he should even dare return to the column so late. Dusk had fallen, and the army should be camped by now. After about 20 minutes further along what he was beginning to suspect was merely a game trail, he saw with relief row upon row of small fires. As he approached the first sentry, he announced, "Kagemasa, reporting back." The sentry waved him through. The Ashikaga camp was always set up on a very specific grid system, so he knew exactly which fire he was looking for. When he arrived in the appointed spot though, he didn't recognize the men sitting about the fire. "Kagemasa, reporting." he said. The men looked about, and began speculating about the banner on Kagemasa's back.

"Is he one of ours?"

"I don't think he's in our squad."

"Maybe he's really important and is here to give us orders?"

"Is that our General himself?"

A Captain passing by heard the talk, saw the banner on Takuro's back and arrested him immediately.

Kagemasa Takuro of the Ashikaga (Liosan/Azathmaster) has been lynched.

The idiot sentry who let him through was executed.

So, 8 to lynch, 8 votes counted. No one on the train had a double vote. Looks like the leaders are laying low (if they are in fact the ones with the double votes.)

If my counting is right, that means Lio was one of the double voters. He was on both of the first 2 trains, but wan't on the 3rd train.

If you're right, the leaders are not the double voters. Becase Lio was not a leader.

0_o No one pays attention, it seems.

Ashikaga Masamoto is the leader. He was the leader of the Ashikaga in the last game, set in this same region that this game is set, months after.

Even if you didn't play in (or at least look at) the previous game, this is from the OP:

Quote

The rout of the Hojo was supposed to create a stepping stone for Ashikaga Masamoto to consolidate his leadership and influence.

I agree with Shadow. Both leaders that we have seen go down bear the name of the clan they represent. As well as the obvious quote from the OP

looks like shin was unable to quickly resolve night. I will be out most of the weekend. Won't be posting too much, if at all. I'll be around for 30 more min, then I am off for a bit.

I didn't mean that in a condescending way, my apologies. I just took it for granted that everyone had figured out what I had.

or it could've been Karatallid.
but, ofc he told us it wasn't him, so it can't be him, right? :)

isn't that how Mafia works? :)

lol you are right though. I totally disregarded him because of his seemingly heartfelt denial. Weird.

Miura Yoshitora pushed his way forward. This was the third counterattack by the Fujiwari, and they were pressing hard. The tall banner attached to the back of his breastplate whipped in the warm wind of early evening. There! There was the banner of Iida Gen, no more than 3 spear lengths away! If I can kill the General, I can present the head to my lord and firmly grasp my own fame in my hands. I will earn the right to wear the two swords. Yoshitora pushed forward, striking a bodyguard a blow to the forehead with the butt of his spear, dropping the stunned man like a sack of rice. It was the the soldier next to him, the bodyguard’s comrade, who split Yoshitora’s skull with his blade. Thus ended his brief window to glory.

Miura Yoshitora (Sorrit/Obdigore) is dead.

Ashikaga Yoshiaki appeared before the kamakura kubo in full battle dress. In his arms he carried a rough sack, the bottom of which was soaked red. Masamoto motioned for the bundle to be unwrapped. Once done so, he peered closely at the head. “That’s not Tokitaka.” He sneered.
Yoshiaki replied, “No, sire. This is the head of his lead bodyguard. A dread blow was struck at Tokitaka as well, but his remaining troops managed to push us back before we could claim the head. We believe he is dead.”
“We shall see.” Masamoto replied. Go display the head with proper respect, and retake the field. The Miura have been crippled, and the Takeda have largely withdrawn. The Uesugi have disappeared and are rudderless in any event. It seems now we must decide what to do about those upstart Fujiwari. To think they were our greatest supporters against the Hojo. It seems they did so merely to maneuver for their own positioning against us, their rightful rulers.”

Miura Tokitaka (Okaros/Morgoth) has been gravely wounded. Although he is not dead, he is no longer part of the Chapter 2 scenario.

It really came as a surprise to no one when the Takeda’s army was defeated again. The Takeda’s ragged retreat after their defeat at Mishima left them ripe for an attack. The strike by Nagao Tamekage was timed perfectly, while the Takeda troops were found despondently strung out in one of the valleys North of Mt. Hakone, he cut them off and destroyed the already battered army. Nearly a quarter were killed or captured, before the Takeda reached a position where they were able to dig in with their backs to the slopes. With reinforcements coming from the North to relieve the retreat, Tamekage felt his position in that valley was untenable and withdrew. It was clear, however, that the Uesugi had successfully gained control of a fair swath of Takeda territory, and the Takeda General had taken a brutal slash across the shoulder and neck, and seemed likely to die.

Takeda Nobutara (Atrahal/Mentalist) has been gravely wounded. Although he is not dead, he is no longer part of the Chapter 2 scenario.

It is Day 4. Weekend Timer Freeze in effect.

Wow, two Miura down and both with the name Miura. That can't be good for them.

Now ironically I think the Ueasugui are ahead, they only lost one so far (granted, their leader, but still). Maybe it's time to go back to look at the day 1 lynch.

Wow, that's quite a few deaths. I'll wait till Shin posts the scenes, but from the fact that two of the 'deaths' didn't actually die suggests to me that they were in fact the leaders of the Miura and Takeda factions.

I'll be away all of Saturday, but may be around to post (sporadically) on Sunday. Anyway, have a good weekend all.
