So I heard that after the Crippled God, Steven Erikson and Ian C Esselmont were planning on writing The Encyclopedia Malaz I was wondering if there was any truth to this, is he currently working on it or are there any confirmed release dates for it as I imagine an entire book on the world of Malazan, which I have heard call Wu (I think that's right), would be amazing. I love huge worlds with loads of history and complex mythology I could imagine that the encyclopedia would be up there with the books themselves. Anyway I'd appreciate any information on this subject thank you.

There's probably already a thread on this subject here on the forum's but i thought that I would put the question out there and then either someone can lead me to the thread or the topic could be discussed here.

I'm pretty sure it's currently a case of "yeah... I suppose we should do that, shouldn't we."
