Damn, I've played far too much today. I can't believe they've managed to effectively launch a story driven mmo like this. No regrets about this purchase.

Well got my Agent up lvl 12 and my Trooper to 11. Did both the Essels and the Black Talon flashpoint. Only complaint I have is that every time I did the BT flashpoint the group wanted to skip the talky bits so the story for that got chopped a lot.

You can skip the talky bits? Why would you, though?

They were doing the quest for the xp and loot. I could have simply not skipped but then I'd be making them wait for me which makes me feel like a dick.

Oh well, I'm bound to find a group that wants to see the story for the BT.

Guild Wars had that for its inmission cutscenes. Though it made whoever chose (and didn't choose) to skip them anonymous so if you PUG'd your way through a mission you'd been stuck on you could pretend you weren't the 7 out of 8 people have skipped the cutscene guy in order to see the 'story' (as much as I like Guild Wars the plot in the campaigns is very silly).
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

You only need 2 people to beat the Black Talon. I did it yesterday. It was pretty fun. First run through I tried soloing it. Second run through the guy I was with killed the Captain of the Black Talon and then he chose a different path. The story changed dramatically. I really love this effect on the group dynamic.

You know between this game and skyrim it looks like what little free time I had is gone. For some reason my only complaint is that the days aren't long enough .... which might be a good thing since they'd probably only make us work longer hours if they were.

I haven't had any issues yet either. Playing a Sith Inquisitor named Klamos.

Haven't played today. I'll jump on some time tomorrow and try and find you guys, though. Dunno what the general consensus is, regarding the guild...I'd still quite like to start one—there are a fair few of us now—though if the majority of us want to join another Malazan guild then I shan't object...?

It's funny I am actually not seeing many people with a guild name as I am running around Kaas city. I suspect that if we started our own guild we could quickly rustle up twenty or so people just by inviting good group players.

I would prefer if our guild was a friendly "for fun" type of fare that will invite anyone.

Okay, sounds like we need to make an appointment where 4 or more people are online at the same time so we can exchange some coin and sign a petition or what ever you do to make a guild.

I suppose we group up and meet at Vaiken Spacedock?

Edit: Or Kaas City...I'm closer to Kaas City.

Right, I'm kind of busy this evening. Who will be online tomorrow? and what's a convenient time to meet...say, 18.00 GMT?
