Has this been mentioned. Has been awhile since I was last here....

So the connection between these 2 and how they balance each other out....Anyone know? For certain?

the only thing we know for certain is that both of their weapons channel d'riss directly, making them incredibly dangerous and the kind of people you don't trifle with. greymane is newer to the game though, and so he is more cautious with using his weapon... SW spoiler:

BEST Spoiler comment ever.
At any rate, Minhasing is correct. I don't think they necessarily balance each-other out in any way.
Of interesting note is that, indeed, Greymane is as of yet reluctant, while Brood has an "agenda", so to speak, with his weapon.

I used to have a theory that Greymane was Burn's mortal sword and Brood her Destriant or Shield Anvil (could never decide which one fit him better, probably destriant) and Ruthan Gudd was the third, her Shield Anvil (him riding out to take that beating from the KCNR in DoD would even be somewhat fitting if that were the case).

However this would require Burn being in serious cahoots with the stormriders, which is a fact I've never quite been able to reconcile to make my theory fit.
So, you're the historian who survived the Chain of Dogs.
Actually, I didn't.

It seems you stand alone.
It was ever thus.

Its not too far fetched. Thats what so frustrating about SW is that it doesnt answer fundamental questions.

Edit
Moderate SW spoilers below as despite being on this site for 5 years I still havnt mastered spoiler tags ffs

fwiw-I'm assuming this thread comes from this quote from Hood speaking to Shurq Elalle about the allies they have aligned

"The Warlord of the Sleeping Goddess, who would defy the eternal patience of the earth itself, and Stonewielder, the One
who stood facing Caladan Brood, ensuring the world's balance. These two are destined to walk disparate paths, but what
they seek is much the same"
