The Walking Dead Spoilers to latest ep

Am all caught up.
And, sadly, bored.
First ep was about 45 min of angst buildling on the angst from earlier in the season, followed by two utterly predictable action scenes. The two guys Rick & co encountered could not have been more obviously sinister if they were wearing black hats and goatees, and while Rick's quick draw was awesome, the two guys were wholly incompetent... ffs they're outnumbered so one puts his gun in plain sight and the other keeps his shotgun shouldered. And Lori's accident was telegraphed when she got into the car with a map, let alone looked at it.
Second ep was mildly better. Lori's escape was well done and the second walker was a nice touch. The stand off at the bar tho', was too drawn out. And the fact that they even stood there for five whole minutes trying to plan amputation surgery was just silly. And again, there was much angsting. They're setting up a major Shane v Rick conflict, but i wish they would take about half the words and twice the zombies to do it.
And Darrell needs to stop whining and go out and shoot some things with his crossbow immediately.
I'm still on board, but hoping for better.

Didn't see that working out the way it did!

“The others followed, and found themselves in a small, stuffy basement, which would have been damp, smelly, close, and dark, were it not, in fact, well-lit, which prevented it from being dark.”

It slowed down again. Too much "we lose our humanity" and "we're no better then them if we follow through" and "how does justice work in this new reality?" But something good did happen for the group:
I did like the episode though, just wish it would have moved a little quicker through to the decision.

That an he lost something that will come in handy if Shane's dastardly plan even comes into effect.

That was quite an episode. I guess if you are an actor on the show you should keep your resume up to date and ready to send out for the next acting job.
Next week's season 2 finale should be a donnybrook.

Great episode, I've been waiting for them to move on off the farm and get to where they are going next.

Couldn't help myself and found me the comics to read. Now have to wait and see what they are putting in the show.
